i'm just amazed someone knows of this site at lvl 32 but doesn't know about alla? am i wrong or is that the impression given from the "thanks for the tip about alla" comment.



Tid- Yes, perhaps the index says All topics. perhaps when the index was made it was almost ment the way you are reading it, but forums change dependant on what the common posters want. at this point its only meaning is that its FFXI topics and not WoW/other topics. The sense of the word is covering the area posts are allowed not the area of topics. GL tho?

Well, apparently this site sucks and people don't like others who aren't lvl 75 like them b/c of the fact that they have a life and have to work for a living instead of mom and dad paying for everything. So, if anyone wonders why I'm only 32 it's b/c I have a life outside the game and I work to pay for my game. Oh well, I'll quit coming to this site and stick to alla.

Getting to level 75 and being part of an HNM ls =/= not having a life. I have a gf, and I hang out with friends at least twice on weekends. I'd argue against your "mom and dad pay for everything" statement, but it's true for me since I'm only 16 >.>. I'm sure other older players here can tell you about this.

And if you do, yeah tidusin we make alot more in a month after the 40-50% tax bracket cut than you will probably ever gross in a year. And we use it to play this game as a hobby, and feed our families. Of course, the hobby always comes first. Work full time + life with family + xi > 32drk

Exactly :D I made that sig entirely in MS Paint. Everything in there (except Novio Earring) is HQ versions of gear that I have, I just drew a white box around them @_@ (except for Jupiter's/Prism/Mahatma, which I do actually have). For Novio I just took a SS of a guy with Pixie Earring (there's one person that I know of with Novio on Hades but I couldn't find him lol) and slapped it on.

Ah, the old "I have a real life" argument...haven't seen that for a while on these boards, /welcome back. I think Wafik tore that argument to shreds in a previous post, but I'm too lazy to search and find it.

Honestly, I didn't even click the topic till it was at 3 pages since I know I have no interest in this event....and I guess I was right, no one here does either - but the 3 pages of bashing were quite amusing on a friday afternoon work day
