dude, use sushi + sword with capped skill
how's your accuracy then? i understand the in-game description lists 1k needles as magical damage, but maybe it isn't? maybe they fucked up

1. Your wielding a Staff. Your accuracy is near nothing (BLU Staff Skill = Nonexistant)

2. 1000 Needles = PHYSICAL Spell. Therefore, ACC based on Weapon ACC.

This is my educated guess (I'm only 55, have yet to attain the spell). Repeat 5 trials with a sword equipped, accuracy food (Sushi), and ask for Hunter's Roll (ACC UP) and Madrigal if you have a BRD. I would think you'd get a higher success rate.

As 1000 Needles has a light elemental affinity, I can see why you might have assumed it was a MAGIC (vs. PHYS) spell, hence equipping the Apollo's Staff.

Anyhow, please let me know how this works out as I'm curious to see this.

It could still be physical. SE has been known to write the wrong shit ingame (Hi AF2 THF/PLD, Sidewinder and several other WSs). And I believe the DATs say it's physical too? Which I'd believe before ingame menus.

Going 0/5 with Appolo's Staff and Magic ACC Up backs it being physical up all the more.

and magical ones work better with /blm whm or rdm?

unless maybe stacking on lots of acc+ would help, but i dunno.

Not that I believe everything I find in online guides to be true, but MysteryTour, for some reason, states that 1000 Needles is a physical ability? I was just going off of that, but yeah-I see where it says "magic" in the screenshot. Non rhetorically speaking, why do you think MT says it's physical? No sarcasm intended, I'm just curious where that data must've come from, because according to the trials above, it seems to be true. The JP know something we don't know?
