Choosy MNKs choose meat, so the turban is an Utsu macro for them. And of course they wear Dunes, so the haste other jobs kill for is meaningless to them.

Choosy monks would use turban and just get a pcc, and macro Ohat for WS.

Well since I'm always the one voking th emob the puller brings in (call it reflex) and typically on top of the parsers I just keep melee gaiters on at this point since I always have counterstance up >_>

You didnt get the cliff notes? Only WAR's with swords merited , despite the lower rating, can use the turban while using a PCC, monks dont do damage, they chi blast lol. Monks cant possibly hit higher level mobs with merited h2h, you're silly.

I'll have to test it out a little bit for MNK. Eating meat in most of my exp parties hurts my accuracy a little, and I think the ohat really helps with that.

I have a faith torque so the neck slot is kind of a non issue.

EDIT: But no way I'm getting this while gold coin prices are so high. I'm gonna make a killing selling these. Such an easy item to get for free yet everyone will pay so much, I love this expansion.

There's no reason to eat sushi anywhere, excepting Ulli and sometimes in the Garden. +10 acc helps, 5% haste is nice but...I mean what the fuck did you wear a Panzer instead of an O Hat?

My standard xp setup includes Togi, Sniper +1, Faith Torque, Sting, O Hat and then the dex from B Haidate and Rajas. When you land 92ish % of your punches and hit much harder than a NIN and a little harder than a WAR, both of whom are capping at 95%....losing that 10 acc is a little silly. And eating sushi to hit 5% faster (and at least 5% weaker) is equally silly.

Nobody said I was going to use sushi.

There's more to life than hitting every time. Swinging more often, for example, could very well lead to landing more punches total than someone with a higher acc rating.

Edit: if you want a really good example, check the parse I posted with Brennon using Spharai and me using destroyers. Despite having a wayyyyy higher dmg-per-fist, I nearly matched her (1.5% lower or something) because I had a ton more combat rounds. Melee hose FTW.

But is +7 (assuming you meant that) Acc > STR+5 + DEX+5(and thus acc+2.5) + 5% TP gain bonus? I wouldn't call that gimp at all.

Do you guys miss skeletons in KRT? really? I wear O-HAT, 2xFlame Rings, Spike Necklace and I eat Curry, I rarely miss. Or are we talking other XP parties?

I did my first Meadows party last night and even with my gear, which isn't that great, I couldn't help but pull hate. I switched from Fuma Sune Ate to Melee Gaiters just to be safer, I tried curry and sushi, both had me pulling hate. I dunno what to do, maybe sub whm? I can't IMAGINE having better gear either, and there's a lot more gear I could have, I don't even have Byakko's Haidate.

Calling bullshit, in that setup you'd probably pull 85% acc at best.
