I'd sell panther+1 and xp in nq except theres 15 HQs on the AH

and as long as I make 16k an hour, I don't care who wins the parser.

(I realize that's probably gonna fire up the MNK arguments again, but MNK/NIN is pretty gimp on ITs and no one can deny that truthfully. There's just not enough attack rounds without WAR sub.)

Also, I feel safer on NIN, more survivability.

<_< I regularly outparse nin/war on mnk/nin. My mnk/nin performs fine on ITs, too. Sure, I'm down by 10% DA rate, but my mnk/war outparses nin/war by more than that anyway.

Well, I have weapon merits on NIN and not on MNK, so that might have a lot to do with it.

Yes, that would. Fully meritted mnk/nin will stand up to fully meritted nin/war just fine.

Mamool Ja Staging Point Mamool Ja @ North zone are all IT and are fucking easy to infinite chain with a good puller. BRD BRD RDM WAR WAR NIN and the only reason we were losing chain at all was because it took the BRDs a 15 seconds to grab next mob sometimes. >.>
Got chain 130, and 300 for about 15-16000 exp per hour in caedarva mire. Most all T - VTish...just like KRT. Havent tried mamool ja yet.

Agreed...6 katana and 2 H2H...come on, help a brother out. I guess we could always ditch those "useless" 4 merits in evasion skill and bring H2H up

One thing that people miss; in addition to 7 higher weapon skill rating and just flat out insane dmg/delay ratio (50 dmg / 348 delay versus typical ninja with 40 dmg / 300ish), monks can also merit kicks to 15%, which with dune boots is almost as good damage-wise as the bonus from 10% DA.

Pretty sure you get 8 offensive and 4 defensive. If you ditch your 4 evasion merits, you'll be an unhappy camper when you find out you STILL can't increase your H2H anymore. I could be wrong though.

I think it's just 12 upgrades in the category overall, just that defensive skills are capped at half of that of offensive skills.

It's 12 in the category, as Aurik said. They separate categories for things like that.

I have 8 katana and 2 H2H (+2 evasion) so it's any way you want among the 12 points.

H-9. You passed it while getting the staging point.

I actually exp at the very top of H-9, not the bottom like most people seem to. I prefer the ITs over the VTs... you don't pass the ITs to get to the staging point. But yeah, I forgot about the northern half of that map.

North islet of that map is accessible through Halvung, but there's no mobs and a big ledge that you can't hop up in a normal fashion. So yea...don't bother going there for merits

Your kick attack merit advantage played a part as well.

As for this turban, i'm a little torn. In KRT i'd say that i'd maybe switch to this piece full time. Outside, I'm not so sure. There's no way in hell I'd even switch to sushi, but my hit rate is a little lowish at some places outside of KRT. example: i partied at mamool ja staging point the other day and had a roughly 72% hit rate. That's a little bit too low for my taste, so I'd stick with the ACC headgears, hell i'd switch even more acc than i was already using in my setup.
If you're that stupid to realize your accuracy sucks that bad and you still eat meat, I wouldn't want your gimp MNK in my PT, whiff, whiff no thanks. Its not like your hits from meat are making up for your tremendous loss in DoT from missing so much. LEARN TO USE SUSHI WHEN YOU HAVE TO!

And don't spew that sushi is gimp attitude, 72% acc means use sushi or gtfo.
