Nother thing I noticed is when I was out there with a bard friend, he casted elegy. It bounced back and hit me. Then he casted Banish, this time it redirected back to himself. Spell type matter or think its just random?

Does anyone else find this really really funny?Originally Posted by shandi235
It's kinda cool that they added all these little extra abilities to mobs, it adds additional layers of strategy.
A couple of the new mobs are definitely not blm-friendly, like imps have dark resist and really high int so you can't sleep-nuke well, these colibri with the reflect etc.
I think they also added some interesting things with the 3 new beastmen types, for example mamool ja and their directional tp moves, which you kinda are forced to learn about in assault, and their weakness to ws at an angle... which you learn from the 'finding faults' quest.
I did a ws constantly running around mamoolja, and when i hit him with a ws at an angle, i intimidated him a couple times after that. I had no intimidate gear on or any special trait, and it only happened after that side ws.. I guess they had some of that already back with fenrir, shadow dragon etc (where if you stay behind him he will swing at you with his tail or one of the hind legs instead of just turning around)...
Anyways, cool stuff
Anyone fought Qirin in the Subeterrane yet?
Now those are some interesting mobs.![]()
me, qirin(mouse tipe) have amnesia and terrorize WS w
Not to mention the strip you of one item to annoy you WS.
Then the RNGs actually put distance between themself and you before attacking, and the one type I fought actually dropped "Qirin Mine" mobs that use "Bomb Blast" or something similar for 75-100 damageThen it ran away
It spammed the Qirin Mines and eventually... Ran away...
Mines were unstunnable too ; ; It'd have 2-3 our at a time and BOOM! 300dmg OK
the ones in the Thickets are great for skill ups.
Someone in my LS said he tried to solo one of these and when he ate a sushi, the bird did some move that took the food from him & ate it.
fuck you.Originally Posted by Daahan
I took my party to the thickets one on the reccomendation, was empty, was AMAZINGLY good exp, and was fun because it was with Tape's COR and my THF. Trot trot trot, in come 75's slowly, at the end there were SEVEN 75's, wtf are they doing ? The place is enormous, go play with tigers or other mobs that dont steal your food.

Have you ever been to sea?Originally Posted by Maxxthepenguin

How are Chigoes (Fawking lowest HP ever for a mob) anything close to a Fuck-ton HP mob?
ok reflect one is half way decent
and Yorva Strip move is AoE.
Get Sea before you start posting about mobs in sea; DRK's /sigh
Any background story on that sig, Koga?
At first I was thinking kinda like you, and wondering what the fuck Max was talking about. BUT THEN! I thought about it for another 10 seconds and it came to me. Maybe you should do the same, because everything makes sense, including the Lamia's if you take into a account he said 'single target' to clarify that there was a small difference.Originally Posted by Koga

GM asked what problem was.. I explained.
GM then asks if I am a NA Player.. I said yes.
GM says what I am experience is potentially lag and that I should try to zone or Reboot my PC to resolve the issue.
Remeber Kids.. if you see a Monk Running at flee speed with WHM sub.. its only lag.
Not a fan of maxx but:Originally Posted by Koga
Probably talking about Marid spawning Chigoes like Jailer of Justice spawns stuff (sans suicude means without >_>)-- which is meh because alot of mobs spawn Chigoes.
Then, there's chigoes that you cant target but they can aggro you-- much like yovra and phaubo yea? Can see but cant target?
Reflect is OK-- I'm just upset you cant cure yourself with Colibri like you can with Fortitude.
He said Lamia's strip WS was single target (*'-') But it does strip you completely like Yovra, however if he was comparing Qirin strip to Yovra strip~
Pretty sure maxx was one of the early crew to get sea on my server, I know he's had it for awhile and has fought several first tier jailers etc...that attack was quite uncalled for.

Sure, it doesn't say that monks can use Powder Boots, but that is just because there is a glitch in the display, MNKs can really use them. Also, you didn't see them using the boots or quenchers because you have them filtered out.
Oh yeah, you are really laggy too.
Are there any more lines of crap I can give you today?"
exp'ing on these right now. Might sound obvious, but when we cast silence on them, they couldnt reflect anything back
Silence was hard to land for our 64 rdm though, might need to stack on the mnd gear for this one.
Or if he has an enfeebling torque when he dings 65.Originally Posted by Lordwafik
That's really good to know. Lesser Colibri's at the Leypoint in Wajoam was by far one of the best places I've ever experienced in the game. I'd love to continue fighting the higher ones but the inability to stick Ninjutsu or Elegy didn't make it a very appealing prospect.Originally Posted by Lordwafik
