If your silence doesn't stick does he cast silence on you? That could get annoying, lol.

They also dont reflect 100% of what you throw at them, they reflect random spells back. Also, unlike other mobs, it's not a mirrored reflect, once you debuff them, they're debuffed, but reverse it. Like our rdm would always cast paralyze on it after her silence wasnt sticking much, and sometimes it'll paralyze mid cast while trying to paralyze her.
Also so long as you have erase, it's not a problem debuffing or doing elegy. Because the bird will become elegied also. We had a ninja tank though, just went into a blink.
If you stick 3 spells on it at once, it only chooses 1 to reflect.
I actually fought Fortitude the other day and he wasn't reflecting Cures. I had to use Tier1 Nukes as a pseudo-stun to give our PLD some breathing room. Not that it matters, cause my Stoneskin wore off from duration before his nukes could take it down.
He was very nice to us, he dropped everything. :D
semi bump, bit more info.
"Lesser Colibri" feather tickle doesnt reduce TP all the way to 0 (unless they updated it), however "Colibri" does take it all the way to 0. Our nin had over 100% multiple times and it just swiped it all away.
Someone else posted the info about Lesser Colibri tickle not bringing tp all the way down to 0 in a previous thread, I can't remember where. It may just be like a resist on the ability, since the Lesser version of the mob are a lower level they would be easier to resist and possibly only get a 50% tp reduction or something like that.Originally Posted by Lordwafik
If you were exping on the normal Colibri, it would be higher than you, and seeing it not take effect would be like resisted a dhalmel's def down or something of that sort.
Strange. I've fought a ton of Lesser Colibri, both soloing and level 56-58 XP party (easiest gilburn ever) and I've never seen Feather Tickle resisted. Always dropped the target's TP to 0. I remember reading that BLU's Feather Tickle can be resisted, though.
Snatch Morsel can outright miss, but it didn't in the xp party (except for one Too Far message).![]()
When soloing on SMN on Lesser Colibri, Feather Tickle would rarely reduce Fenrir's TP to zero... usually to 33, 99 or 150.
Knowing SE, the effect of the ability is enhanced on player characters so that it almost always reduces their TP to zero.
Lesser Colibri don't drop my TP to zero at level 75 when I fight them.Originally Posted by inafume
ive been soloing on the lesser ones for the past 2 days (about 8k on pld, so yeah, ive fought a lot lol) every feather tickle took me to 0tp
Actually, I might have gotten it confused with Feather Tickle from a blu mob. I haven't killed that many colibris, but I thought that it didn't take all my tp /shrug
