Oh man - I've been playing this game for almost 2 years now. Lounge access, member of N.O., shit like that. </epenis> But yeah. Anyone who plays this, just toss me a PM or something with your name or whatever - I'll send you over some meat.Originally Posted by Not Kuno
Actually... you're right. I'm a Ringmaster (think FFXI Bard + Whitemage) and I heal and use a cheer stick to do it, damn you're good Kuno o_OOriginally Posted by Not Kuno
It's got no drama, and you posted it on BG forums? I give it a week or so before drama consumes the very soul of that game.Originally Posted by SilverBreeze

I'm a complete newb I can't even take down the Knob Boss cause wearing that harem outfit gets me fucking pwned. What am I supposed to do?Originally Posted by Millael
For the Knob Goblin king, you'll probably want to stick to Thrust-Smacking it if you can. As a level 7 muscle class, you'll have somewhere between 40 and 53 muscle - I'd suggest a spiked femur and a set of Flaming Talons, along with 3 Sneaky Pete's Breath Sprays for the time being.
Get someone to put Jackass and Moxious Madrigal, and maybe some Celerity on you, along with Astral and Ghostly shells, Tenacity of the Snapper, the three Saucespheres. Unlock your guild, buy some of thse cheap clocks and use them for init up. Combining Thrust-Smack with the rest of all of that means you should be doing double damage each turn while shit shouldn't be hitting you.
And once you're at the level, pick up Eye of the Stoat. Stoat increases your crit chance, decreases your fumble chance, and makes it so when you Thrust-Smack, you'll never, ever miss.
Oh. And your food of choice should be Rat Appendix Chow Mein. Your drinks should probably be Pink Ponies for the time being. I'll toss some buffs on you when I get home. I probably "should" be working right now.
Wow I totally got the wrong skills then. Know of any other '1337' TT strats? And o.O Thanks for all the stuff. And what is that familar item? I just figured out some of the familar stuff recently and I got a toupee for my volley ball. Is that jigawatt pet equip any good?
As for getting spells casted on me, I dont really have any KoL friends. I dont go to the chat or have a guild. >_> People spam newbie chat with retarded stuff and questions I see asked don't seem to get answered much so I never really bothered.
Thanks again for all that meat. ^^;
Fly FF site is down =( I wanted to play it.

Hahahaha. Did I accidentally send a 1.21 jigawatt to you? That's a familiar item for a limited-time familiar that I wasted around 8mil on.
For "1337" TT strats, what most powergamers use is something called "LTSynergy". Basically, with this, you'll want to ascend twice so you can permanent Lunging Thrust-Smack and Eye of the Stoat, completely eliminating your to-hit roll, and enabling you to do triple damage each attack, as long as you have the MP. For that start, you'll probably want Tenacity of the Snapper eventually - but if you're actually going to ascend multiple times and get into the speed-ascending deal, there's a couple skills you'd want to grab before that.
From Turtle Tamer, you'd want Sympathy and Empathy for a total of +10 to your familiar's weight.
From AT, you'd want Madrigal, Loot, and probably Celerity. Mad gives +10 Moxie for 2mp, Loot ups droprates by 20%, Celerity gives you +30 initiative.
From DB, just pick up Mad Looting Skillz, for an innate 10% drop bonus.
Pastamancer, you'll want Pastamastery
Sauceror, you'll want Saucecrafting.
Oh, and one other Clubber skill you'll want to permanent is Dual Wielding, at level 12. You'll understand why, eventually.
Oh wait I forget Im seal clubber. <_< I dunno why I asked for TT stuff lol. I'm such a newb. What's the fastest way to ascend anyway? I'm level 7 or so does it get easier to ascend after you've done it a few times first?
I translated "TT" as "SC" in my head, but unfortunately my fingers typed "TT" in describing that strategy. Yeah - ascending gets much faster as time goes. If I ever got motivated enough to ascend, I could run softcore runs in 2-3 days without any effort now that I have around 50 skills banked.
Once you get all three familiar skills (Empathy and Sympathy from TT, Leash from PM) you've cut around 60-70 turns off of each run, maybe more. LTS will have you killing in the highest zones possible at all times, and the item drop skills will have you getting quest items faster. You'll probably be able to ascend once every 4-5 days at first, once you get the hang of the fastest paths to take.
What familiars are good? I used to use a Mosquito but I found out about the Volleyball being good for skills so I got that. Are there any that can do some real damage? I tried looking on a KoL fansite (coldfront) but their familiar section is kinda lacking on details and is pretty vague.
For you guys who just tried FlyFF, there was a server maintenence in game and for the website, give it another try tonight or tomorrow =)
that game reminds of Priston Tales, did anyone else ever play it?
Currently playing (other then FFXI):
Tales of the Abyss (JP PS2 orny)
and
Xenogears (read a thread last week that made me need to play this game again)
Lbelle that's exactly what I thought. It feels like a combination of Priston Tale and Ragnarok Online to me =)
Lineage II, Counter-Strike: Source, Guilty Gear XX#R, Melty Blood, Fire Emblem (GBA)
Has anyone ever tried out Toontown Online besides myself?
I lol'ed irl.Originally Posted by Tidusin
