I thought that too.Originally Posted by Septimus

Alexander has a role in the expansion.
Discuss.

Maaaan I tooootally thought this was going to be about Alexander the summon, too. Biggest badass in the entire FF franchise. Sigh.
Split the thread, deleted the useless drama, left the speculation on Alexander.
Man, I really hope Alexander never becomes an avatar in the game...wyverns are enough to make me lag during besieged already.
Dude, don't you get it? Summoning Alexander in Al'Zhabi will cause no extra lag because the models are already being rendered. Thats right, it would make the fucking city buildings fight for you.Originally Posted by Xavier
We will need drawdistance plugin or 360 version to see Alexander firing missles from the horizon when SMNs use his BP.
I want Alexander, Odin, Bahamut, and Phoenix to be summons in the game, but I want them to be different from normal summons- I want them to only be able to be used during Astral Flow.Originally Posted by Xavier
Picture it, fighting something, you get a lot of links. Oh noes! What do we do now?!
Summoner pops Astral Flow- the mobs get a snoot full of Terra Flare.
One minute later, have a little Holy Judgement.
Another minute goes by, here comes the Atom Edge.
And if you have enough blood pact gear, you can use Rebirth to raise the fallen members of you party.
You wouldn't have to worry about Bahamuts and Alexanders and Phoenixes flying around (and Odins hoofing around) lagging out zones, they pop in and pop out when their spell is cast. Everyone gets awesome summons, everyone is happy.
k you can have that if i have a 0delay bow that does 99999 damage per shot with any ammo. and doesnt wiff.
arent odin and ramuh pretty much the same
Please. Explain to me how making the Summoner's 2hour useful again with the ability to do massive damage three times every two hours would be broken? I actually had the same idea Sept does, and it'd be nice for summoners to have a 2-hour that's more powerful than their 70 pacts.Originally Posted by Matricide
I'd rather see other jobs made useful in between 2 hours, than boost probably the most useful jobs 2 hour ability...Originally Posted by Millael
Even still, I'd love to see Sept's idea in place.
SMN is still very powerful between Astral Flows (ask Tiamat), adding in Astral Flow only summons would just increase the jobs awesomeness.Originally Posted by Eaglestrike

Too bad Summoners will never get Odin, Phoenix, Bahamut, or Alexnader. And whoever said Ramuh is like Odin, are you retarded? Ramuh doesn't have a 6 legged horse and doesn't come out from the clouds and use Zenzetsuken cutting your enemies in half.
Ramuh was in the... Ramayana? Rig Veda? One of those, I think. Its been a while since I've read any of the stories based out of those. He was the one who defeated Vrtra. Unless I'm thinking of Indra. But I think Ramuh and Indra are the same person. Like I said, its been a while since I read up on any of that, so I probably don't know what I'm talking about anymore.
I have no idea... all I know is Odin isn't anything like Ramuh.Originally Posted by Khamsin
You are correct, sir.Originally Posted by Khamsin
There isn't actually a figure named Ramuh in any Mythology I've found, however the Ramuh we know from FF time and time again is mostly similar to Indra.
