is that I keep seeing people post stating "endgame" but the thing is that since FFXI is an MMORPG there is no game ending like FFX or other FF had so why is this term used when FFXI has no ending whatsoever?

technically you have a point, but considering that once you are 75 and are doing everything there is to do to a point where it becomes repeated (like killing tiamat 48times) and there is nowhere else to go except for just farming rare/ex items for toons - you are kinda at the end of the game until added content is released.

In that instance, you would be correct Boyiee. There's always the option of leveling every job to 75 (which not too many people are interested in doing since one is a pain), leveling all the crafts, or others but I do agree that if you're having to kill HNMs and others a million times to have something to do, you are kinda at the end of the game til new stuff comes out. SE should come out with stuff a little bit faster when they know people are running out of things fun to do atm.

I tried to come up with an original name but didn't have luck so my next tactic for creating a name was to think of what I liked most (which happened to be FFX at the time) and create a name from that and I came up with Tidusin from Tidus and Sin. Now, my mules are 100% original...

Plus, I may not be on the "endgame" yet but I do know a lot from the time I've spent on FFXI playing 2 characters over the years. I do not claim to know everything about the game because I know that I don't, I just state what's fact based on what I do know from my own experiences, from what other people I talk to tell me, and everything and everyone around me. I do try hard to get along with everyone but I just don't like to be judged so quickly when people don't know me well enough to do so.
