Also if this war is so "decked" a rng wouldnt Out TP him.. parse says he did 105 WS's to your 250ish, next time at least do the parse right; that info proves nothing. Try that on mobs that live for 30 seconds like in Caedrava mire and at most you're getting off 2-3 shots. If you played RNG and had a Ridill or Kraken club before the distance nerf you'd say what we have today is shit too. We used to be able to melee for comperable damage to that of a WAR, ranged attack it point blank for 200-250 damage, and then do a WS for 2000.

There are big fatty eyes that my THF can break 1300 on DE. If a THF can do that much (granted with SATA) then there's a piercing bonus. I've seen RNGs boost their DMG% here by a good 5-10% by saving Barrage for the Eyes.

Are they doing more dmg? Yes...

But they are relying on the WAR more for the rest of the mobs, and he -still- pulled through for the chain (I'm assuming).

Yeah, it is nerfed but that's not to say RNG blow now. And hellfire's optimal rng is just outside of melee range, just walk back a few feet and WS, not that hard. It works on Puks and the difference is even greater.

It probably is consistently the highest WS on neutral damage mobs (no flies or skellies) if you had berserk, 2x minuet, attack food, etc but you'd sure be one hell of a MP sponge.
