Meat gives about +10-20 damage per hit for a Rid/Joy using WAR, and only a couple % less ACC. o:

Hardly any WARs use meat though. Pretty sad, really.
But how close to being fully merited are you? Full axe/sword merits along with aggressor merits would make meat much more tantalizing a choice than sushi. WARs that are not close to that kind of set up are going to need sushi to keep up.

I would love to use hedgehog pies, but my WAR is only level 72. (But having 6 sword merits is nice for Joyeuse...)

We both have 4 dbl attack, 3 aggressor, 3 berserk, 5 str, and 4 crit. He has 8 axe and 4 sword, I have 8 katana, 4 sword. I wear two sniper +1s, he wears rajas + toreadors.

DUH that's the way I chose to see it. Duh other people can see it and exp there, im not shooing anyone out, im explaining janices point of view to the other person.

The parties im talking about are the ones that drag the place to a halt, like the other day when I was camping, 2 parties came, one to the side of mine, and one behind me. They were exp'ing off sea puks and other things they could pull, we killed 2-4 mobs in the time they killed 1.
I dont care if they do that, but squashing yourselves next to eachother is lame.

The other day I took my standard party (PLD/WAR, WAR SAM BLM RDM WHM) , we were getting chain 11-21's consistently, untill omg , once again, another party camps behind/infront of us and slowly chip away at monsters. At the end I just sleepga'd entire groups of mobs so we can have mobs to kill and repop by the time the other pt's are finishing fighting the first.

Agreed. Mobs that have extremely short repop timers, including T mobs that have even shorter timers, and monsters that spawn pets that are a minimum of T (so far everything keeps the chain going), I dont see how it all was some coincedance. SE saw and knew that people love burn parties, and now we are catered. Now the burn party people can stop whoring other peoples camps in ulegard (or maybe they'll move back once they get their turbans kekeke).
Obviously you aren't the only person who wants the Turban, why would they exp somewhere esle when they want IS? And they pay their fee every month just like you do, who are you to tell them where they should go?
Trying to justify a shitty party going to a burn spot will fall on deaf ears here.

Its the same thing as seeing a normal PT doing a skillchain at Deco weapons, I direct them to the door, and tell them how to get to Aura Statues.

AoE flash fucks your acc rating hard, regardless of food.

Aggressor + Sushi + Moderate Acc gear and partially overide the Flash, but yeah, it fks w/ the parser.

I tried atk food at the spot yesterday, and I hit a bit harder, missed a bit more, overall there isn't really any change in the DoT.

Also, the end of meat is coming up fairly soon.

If you eat meat in a 3x melee, brd, cor, rdm pt, I'll laugh at you =)

I purposly out pull them constantly and make sure they have no mobs to kill so they will leave. If they try to grab one, I voke and solo for a little while. Normal PTs have no place in main camp anymore.

I don't think normal parties have a place anywhere anymore really, lol. hell, i'm a THF and I participate in burn parties all the time. Once I get my hands on a cock charm and homam feet and hands I'm pretty sure I'll be on par with a decent NIN or WAR (non Ridill).

What's so special about COR that it makes attack obsolete? Because I'd probably enjoy war roll + thf roll, or war roll + cor roll, which doesn't change much from a "sushi vs meat" perspective...

I have 82-4% using meat, 86-88% with sushi. With 4 AGG merits. Each agg merit adds a good 1-2% ACC. Doesn't seem like they would add as much as they really do, same can be said about Berserk. And 8 Sword merits, using Rid/Joy (Rid/Joy is way better at the Puk camp, since you're fighting most T mobs).

Serious question, I really don't COR.

Don't use meat pre-75. I'm only talking about merited lv75.

I hope the instancing-up of assault leads them to make XP areas instanced, too. Probably won't happen, but I'm just lamenting the insane popularity the new areas are having right now. The mimic assault mission seems like a start though -- the fish were giving my group IT xp (chain 4 200 due to too much aggro). Full 6 member party. Maybe the popularity will die down once a good number of people get their hat.

Pretty funny since acc on my monk is pretty much the same with atk food and +10 acc. Yeah, slightly higher skill and all compared to a war with full axe merits, but is 11 skill going to make that big of a difference?

At any rate flash is a moot point, all it does is skew the parser. It only lasts 3 attack rounds or less, it's not like blind which makes an actual impact on your dps for more than a few seconds if it's not taken off.

Is Hany using meat? Otherwise this really doesn't show anything if your all using sushi.

You have 2% more accuracy using Sushi? By the way which meat do you use. The only viable sources of meat I see are Hedgehog Pie or Bison/Marbled. Hedgehog is obviously better then Bison, but Marbled its up in the air with the extra 5 attack cap. Then there's the obvious dragon meat synths, which dont need to be mentioned.

The ONLY reason I could see someone using meat in Bhaflau Thickets is because sure you do good damage on the easy non-evasive mobs, but the mobs you NEED to chain (Lurkers, Wind Walled Juriks, and Interceptors to an extent) are the ones that will be the key wether or not you make or break a chain. I macro in +43ACC (while using Sushi) when I fight a Lurker or high evasive Jurik and I still whiff so much that unless it was sitting right ontop of us, we lose the chain alot of the time. You claim to use +45ACC using meat. I'm sorry but you're seriously telling me you make chain on a Lurker with that setup and meat?

Merited 75? Even with every possible Sword piece in the game, and completely merited Sword, my sword is still only 2 skill above A+. Don't act like WAR falls under jobs like NIN,MNK, or SAM where they can obtain 300+ skill when "merited" and geared. WAR doesnt have that luxury and therefore I believe have to be geared to accomidate that.

It was more or less aimed at ridill wars, not mnks.

I'd go cor + drk rolls, minuet4/march, you have fully merited berserk, the atk from the roll and minuet 4, and you're going to reach the same atk as anyone eatting meat, while keeping the 95% accuracy that sushi gives (excluding puks)

Hedgehog Pie. And I have 93-95% ACC on Weapons and most other camps.

Never had a problem at all chaining when using meat. But, this is also at the Puk/Mamook camp.

Sushi really isn't as much of an acc boost over meat with the proper gear and merits.

Oh, and the thing about COR roll that I'm not sure on, how much is the bonus XP from it? You'd have to compare how the extra XP vs. killing faster w/ a different roll measured out.
