He is nin, but your either using that piece for TP gain, like mentioned before or wearing it at your local 7-11 to fit in and maybe get a free slurpee. I would not waste my time on that much exp or gil for a macro for your recast timers. I'd rather spoon with my grandmother...

Hell I don't evade IT on ninja unless I spam evasion gear on ninja. My "tanking IT" setup is +25 eva and +7 skill/2 merits with 6% haste. I'll evade maybe 15-20% by my guess with that much and the mob being blinded.

I was a firm believer in this as well, until about 3 days ago when one of my friends needed his Dune Boots. We went to his pop area, but the NM wasn't up, so we killed basically all the mobs in the area and waited for them to repop, at which point the NM appeared. I agree with XxSlusherxx though, that you should just kill the mobs once, wait for repops, and if he doesn't pop at that point, you should probably come back later.

There's 3 sabotenders around his pop room, so I'm not sure which ones are the placeholder in particular, I'd kill all 3 to be safe. For us, he repopped instead of one of the ones past his room, not the one in front of it (which I would have assumed was the placeholder).

My evasion set goes up to, in ideal conditions, +20 skill, +8 skill from merits, +35 eva, and then Dodge for an additional +30 evasion 40% of the time. And 12% haste from Black belt, 15% for casting by macroing boots, and soon to be +20% from macroing boots and turban. Yea...I'm not saying you get a GOOD evasion rate, but you can get it to 50% on VT and 25%+ on IT.

Thank you for the correction, I'm gonna go check on this NM this weekend for my 71 monkey - aurik convinced me I'm shite unless I get these boots

I'm still gonna macro in my hume rse2's for asuran though...

There's 2 Spelunking Sabotenders in a cave leading to a zone past his room. I've always seen one of those missing when Bailarina is up.

From what i remember, Bailarina (sp) is rarely killed, when i went to kill for my boots, it was up and sitting there for 3 days. and even though monk has been a fad job as of late, to my knowledge it still sits up for days before being killed
