RNG Slug Shots around that level are usually 700-900 but with the shittier bullets its probably more like 500-650.

i believe you are talking before the patch here, with the current state of rng seeing a 300-450 is the more natural thing, sidewinder does get in the 500+ more easily than slug shot at the lvs of 55-61

btw this is fighting IT mobs

Geno meritted marksmanship enough so that he could get slugshot at 54 COR, when he got it, he did like 400 on crabs and 600+ on those lesser corli or w/e they're called in the expansion area. He is 56 now. Its good damage.

it's nice, it's not shit damage (there's no reason for it to be poor damage), only later on we'll start seeing how bad the accuracy is for 75 vs VT-IT.

Only if you're rng/nin fighting crabs. In a ranger-neutral party 700-900 is about right.

I already miss a good portion of weaponskills in the 40s, so I am both excited and worried about when I get slugshot. It's inspired me to level /rng and bcnm for a gun belt.

Exactly.... ppl still rather fight crabs than look for something weak to pierce like flies - OMG cursed sphere gonna whipe us!

I think i was in a Bibiki Bay exp party with a rng doing these (700-900) numbers. If a Ranger was doing less than this maybe they didnt have good gear, food, range, etc.

top slug on lesser colbri (IT one at that level) was 975 with cor/nin and this setup: (edit: With squid sushi nq because fucking birds steal your food lolz)

    archer's x2
    Matchlock Gun
    Iron Bullet
    Voyager Sallet (lol)
Spike Necklace (I'm broke, sue me)
Drone Earring x2 (didn't plan on subbing nin forever, no genin)
Irn. Mskt. Gambison (that +3racc +3ratk thing)
    Noct Hands +1
Jaeger Ring (idfc I melee for TP sometimes if shit goes wrong)
    Rajas Ring
    Traveler's Mantle (lol 61{Looking for members.})
Vanguard Belt (because I just now remembered I can use ryl.knight as I was typing this, lol)
    Noct Legs
Noct Feet because i didn't fucking give a shit, lol dex for ranged crit? LOL

Yeah, needless to say, if you have a merited Marksmanship, your slug shot will be ok

if you don't..... WHIFF WHIFF WHIFF WHIFF WHIFF because I still miss like 35%ish of the time with 150tp at 5.5units.

Big thing with Corsair, in all honesty, is using Slug Shot properly, and enhancing a defense down effect on the mob. DiaII, Light Shot. BLU's stupid roar thing, Wind Shot. Acid Bolt, I dunno, maybe Dark, but meh dun care 'cause BLU ftw.

Also, if you have an RDM in the PT, make sure that they tell you when they're gonna convert. Best thing in the world for an RDM is for them to Convert, not use their other JA, and have a Corsair use Random Deal and it actually proc. I gave my RDM last night Convert back twice, and he was blowing the shit out of things with his extra MP.

Best thing about Corsair, is that.... well, you know that level when you notice you're too high to xp at a certain spot normally? Add Corsair's Roll and you've got an extra level you can spend at that relative joke of a camp.

Corsair for the win, kids. Corsair for the win.

Bye, Bye Bard lol... this job has good buffs and does damage... hmm maybe there will be still uses for BRD in xp parties. Will be interesting to see how Corsair does end game.

If I can't merit Quick Draw and Random Deal when I hit 75, I'm going to fucking call up the bastards in the Developing Team long-distance to japan and fucking bitch them out because those are the like, only two areas that the job fails with. Quick Draw, 3min recast (elemental shot for those of you who don't know), and Random Deal is 20min. Yes, a 20min recast JA lol. FAILURE. Gimme -5min total off that and we've got a deal.

BTW, Quick Draw is a 25unit instant claim ability that works in any direction, not just the one you're facing. Go go, Corsair bot aspid+KB.
