0/12 Behemoth KNife+1
0/6 Demon Helm +1
0/3 SH+1 with 1 break 1 losing claw
0/2 Cursed mittens with 1 break losing skin.

Lastly to piss me off even more 0/1 DH LOSING ANOTHER HORN.

This was all in a row, I did all the above stuff @ LC guild so I can get support for SH, did all that, figured I am due a HQ so tried the wyrm horn I had and lost it. I am done with crafting, its broke and that is a fact.

I hear that. 0/7 lamian kaman+1. Love watching myself piss gil away while 1 person has almost a full AH history on the HQ. Just cut my gil in half in 10 minutes of crafting. Yay?


To those that have it, does the "overwhelming xxxcraft energy" seem to make any difference? I'm sitting at 100+2 bone, working on leather GP before going back for the fang, and just wondering if i shouldnt stop trying the big synths without the mog energy. I have never, ever tier 0 hq'd before, and the only tier 1 i can ever pull out of my ass is the occasional 50k ring. Disheartening seeing all these great results in the other thread, feels like im missing out.

That does sound like a normal do to me too, just blow ur gil away, it's the only way! About the DH synth... 1st ever 1 i did... blew up losing horn, 2nd 1 i did... blew up losing horn, 3rd 1 HQd but yeah, wasn't a synth for myself lol. Went onto my WW account other day, 0/9 on staves ftw.

Big gils come from luck, seems u had youre fair share on the T1's. Try going 0/30 on Lamia+1 trying to synth for myself, 2/45ish on Cursed Mittens-1 for myself, 0/20ish on Cursed Leggings-1. It either HQs or it don't, if it don't... then just keep going until it does. I bet everyone on this forum who crafts has had there fair share of "bad luck" it sux, but just find some lower lvl synths then try again, don't worry about it.

So i am casually browsing th ah looking for something to synth, no angel skins, no behe horns, only 1 vclaw.

So i leave the bonecraft sectiona dn look at behe hides, notice that they are 800k each, and there are no unicorn leggings on the AHa nd they are a 200k profit to NQ, so i ask my ls friend to craft me the hide -> leather:

So wait you used all of your gil on 7 snyths of a T1, which theres a good chance you wont get 1 HQ and seeing 2 would be really lucky, and then broke a T0 synth? Go farm or synth T2s that are decent profit (see if its 1/6 HQ profit or breakeven, along those lines) and save up ... blowing all your gil on 7 T1s that have really no sell back and a T0 isn't the brightest thing to do. Some people call the game stupid when in fact it is the person being stupid playing the game <_<.

Not exactly stupid, its just taking a risk. Yes i knew the odds before going in, just sucks seeing the outcome no matter how much you prepare yourself for it.

How many tier 0 have you made? Because i havent made any. ever. My biggest profit on a single synth was a behemoth ring +1 (tier 1). 300k whoopdie fucking shit. That is what pisses me off the most, I just cant seem to catch a break. That, along with about a zillion other dipshit crafters out there. Hey theres 5 of xx item that sells 1 every 2 - 3 days! I think ill put up 5 of my own! Thats a good idea!

Edit: The smashing of the lappas wasn't all that shocking, as you said its t0, but it's just like of all times it could possibly break, its right after the other loss.

I've been trying to synth a pair of Cursed Fng. Gauntlets -1 for myself. I'm currently on an 0/23 streak and today I hq'd the Dragon heart for 6 bloods but then synthed 5 NQs with one break (lost blood and dragon gauntlets).

So, my sky shell had a Heart drop tonight so I decided to give this synth another shot. I haven't touched this since the last time (quoted above), and again, I Hq'd the blood, NQ'd 5 gauntlets and broke 1 losing a blood.

I bet GMs watch me synth and laugh at my craptastic luck.

One of these days, my luck will turn, I just wish it was sooner rather than later.

yesterday i broke macrame synth and lost both siren's hair
today i NQ peace cape (YESSSSSSS)
Then HQ that V Cloak there in my inv.
Then break synth of peace cape > errant cape... But only lost that raxa. (YESSSSSSSSS) And i went on to NQ it a couple minutes later.
