If it makes you feel any better I'm currently on a 49 nq/break streak on cursed hauberk with about 12 breaks, not counting about 10 damascus -> haubergeon -> hauberk breaks.

I NQed 60 Mythril Rings (Tier 1) followed by 60 Ephedra Rings (Tier 1) the other day. I was excited to see all the Mythril Ring NQs, but thennnnn.... well, whatever.

Can't you just use your alchemy NQ ring to ensure the mythril rings would NQ? I'm pretty sure the cannot HQ works across all crafts regardless of what guild the ring is from.

I've been slowly making hexed gear for skill ups hoping for a T0 HQ, with no luck as of yet. Today I switched to goldsmithing guild to work towards KI and low and behold I T0 mythril leggings I made for GP...

I have 90 NQ Hexed pieces at the moment and two HQs. I'm trying to figure out the smartest way to offload them, because someone transferred something like 20 Ethereal Squama to our server this morning and ate a large chunk of my gil (subsequently, 104.9 with another 12 synths waiting for saps). I will probably keep the AH price moderately high (a little less than equal to the ingredient cost) and set up a bazaar with substantially lower priced NQs. The unfortunate fact of the matter is that having 90 NQs on my mule isn't doing me any favors, and even if I dump them at less than half the ingredient cost I still end up getting 45mil back (more than any HQ sold for). Plus, my mule is in danger of running out of space if this continues for much longer.

Also, I'm fairly sure someone posted a SS of themselves HQing another craft with the no-HQ ring of their main craft on shortly after those rings were released. I hope I'm wrong, though, because it would finally give me a reason to get them. @16000/40000 for the Goldsmithing KI too.

I'll try to remember to test the HQ ring thing later tonight. Will probably only be about a 30 synth sample size but will be on an item I am T3 for (brass cap).

Edit: You were right Byrth. HQed the first cap...feels good to finally HQ something again though.

Kind of a bad crafting night and I only had to do about 18 synths:
* I broke 6 times in 24 synths just now on crap that I'm at least Tier 1 on.
* Lost one Ethereal Squama (and other stuff).
* HQed some Mage's Slops (Tier 1, FFFFF).
* Made a few NQ Hexed Slops/Nails (Tier 1, FFFFF).

But I got 0.2 skill and am now 105.1. I mostly feel this was a bad crafting night because I swear I broke my Velvet Slops synth like 4 times in a row despite being Tier 1 on it.

Made a Killer's Kilij for a friend today, he asked if it was possible to desynth a demon slayer into another adaman kilij to try a 2nd, told him it's more common for desynths to be just base materials and checked, wasn't even a desynth listed for it, he said try anyway. Got HQ result with a lightning crystal: 4 adaman nuggets.

Would a ring corresponding with a subcraft force NQ? Say I was trying to make a Cesti: Leather 3 and WW 1, in order to craft a Behemoth Cesti. If I had a WW ring but not leather, could I wear the WW ring to force nq?

I remembered why I hate crafting:

-Went 2/80 on Cerberus Mantle+1 (Tier 1) earlier this week (one sitting). First HQ was synth 48.
-Friend skills up on Cerb Mantles today and T0 HQs 2.
-This just happened sything for a friend: (100+Apron+Gloves+Torque+Stall+Belt Support+Ring)
