War/nin or Drk/nin any non ninja dual wielding = sushi

I know I personally lose too much accuracy by swapping in all hecatomb gear for Rampage to be using anything but SUshi.

Great Axe Warrior, I would have to say Meat, due to the fact the fucker is A+ skill, and Acc isnt usually an issue.

But how many Warriors have Great Axe fully Meritted? probably very few, as most have Axe tapped out along with remaining into sword or great axe.

Think a War/nin can get away with meat and still have CONSISTENTLY HIGH DMG rampages? If using Meat you would have to find the happy mediuem of +STR and +ACC on your Rampage gear.

Um, my average WS is more with meat then with sushi. I don't know why you would drop hecatomb. I drop Warwolf and Flame (10 STR, 5 DEX) for Life Belt and Sniper Ring and don't have trouble with Accuracy on my WS.

And you don't even need one merit to use meat with Great Axe.

i have full meritted Gaxe and use meat full time and love. 8) If i see i lack a lil bit acc with gaxe i either use hedgehog or life belt, when i exp as /nin i use sushi tho. As thf i use meat whereever i can, like in dynamis where mobs have a really low evasion

I felt like a retarded gimp on NIN there, normally I have zero problem keeping up TP against any job (if I party with someone really good, I'll full swap PCC/life/2snipers and TP issues are gone), however on these birds it was just a lost cause. I didn't parse but I wouldn't be surprised if I was in the 65-70% range at the end of the day :/ Those were the first really evasive things I'd seen, much worse (imo) than toromas just 2 levels before

I bought one to try out meat in a deco party, bought it around 3pm, XPed at 1am, hit racc macro..."Nynja's ranged attack misses".

    /p um...I gotta go :/

192 delay on a ranged weapon that is not meant to be thrown is retarded. You dont even have time to cancel your throw.

I actually don't even have a /RA on my nin macros. Unfortunately, the pallet above it happens to be my rng macros. So sometimes when holding in ctrl to cast utsu or something, my finger my might hit the 'up' button... Voke is ctrl +3 for nin, pulling macro is ctrl +3 for rng...

I should probably change that some time, considering I've now literally thrown away 6 million gil ._.

Use a safety on your ranged attack macro and disable ctrl + d.

Nothing like swinging a 2h weapon with 150 delay.

Supposedly it only works between something stupid like 50-55% moon phase.

Supposedly the DA also goes off 90% of the time and stacks with DA like Sea weapons (I doubt 90% of the time, since people used to say Joyeuse was 90% lol).

If it really is 90%, then it does become the best Great Axe during that moon phase. Since it probably isn't, Rune Chopper will still probably maintain it's top spot.

In my limited experience, MNK/NIN vs. WAR/NIN, the monk usually wins, if they are well meritted but the margin is very small (1-3%). The MNK has good gear and usually uses meat. I use Wood/Ridill (only cuz my maneater's on loan ><) and usually eat sushi and stack haste/atk/str gear. I do use meat on occasion, but that's when I have 80%+ acc without sacrificing haste gear. Flames I can live without, but that's about it. I think the biggest factor is tanking. MNKs don't have voke (obviously) so WARs are voking, and therefore casting utsu more often.

I have no idea what my point is in this post... >_>

For you WAR/NINs with Ridills... is Ridill/Joyeuse that much better than Axe/Ridill? I've already meritted sword x8, axe x4, and berserk x5. I'm not sure if I should get a Joy and merit Aggressor, or just merit DA. >_>

With meat, generally speaking, for VT-IT high DEF mobs I'll go with Axe/Ridill. T/VT/IT low DEF mobs, Joyeuse is better.

With Sushi, Joyeuse hit's like a pussy so I'd go Axe/Rid full time if you have Brutal Earring.
