Just bought a Logitech G5 mouse, G-15 keyboard, and $230 desk from a local office store. Having moved into a new room RIGHT next to a refridgerator and IN a room I can smoke in (reducing two major needs to leave a conventional room) I feel the pounds pouring on...

    But seriously, its nice.

that keyboard is pretty much useless, since you cant feel the buttons or where your hand is laying, you will be looking at the letters trying to type out a single word without making a mistake. if you look close enough to any keyboard, they have some kind of bumps that you naturally remember them and makes typing easier..

bluetooth is a very unsecure way of transfaring and reciving data, look at those bluetooth phones, a script kid would know how to hack them..

if you can afford a good keyboard, i would go with Mac's keyboard, very nice touch and the buttons dont jump off as soon as you let them go..
very convienent..if not, check out http://www.razerzone.com
they have the best mice, and prolly some good keyboards

lol@Razer mice being good. I have a diamondback and the thing fucking requires a mousepad. It's optical. Why do I need a mousepad for an optical mouse? If I put it on the surface of my desk my cursor goes crazy and is almost uncontrolable. More than that, it's probably the most imprecise mouse I've ever used, detail work in photoshop is pretty much a no-go. Trying to select single pixels diagonally is like trying to thread a needle with a sausage. I'd like to use something else but I paid $60 for this piece of shit, so I'll use it until it breaks.

Oh, and the buttons require maybe .1 grams of pressure to depress, which means you pretty much have to move the thing around with your thumb and pinkie if you don't want to be wildly clicking buttons by just resting your hand on it.

royze is right -- that bluetooth laser keyboard gadget might look sweet, but there's a good reason keys on keyboards have the amount of tension that they do. Pounding on a flat surface for hours on end gets really uncomfortable, and it's also really hard on your hands.

I have a Logitech G15 keyboard and a G7 mouse, and I'm pretty happy with them both.

They were a bit on the pricey side, but both were totally worth the money.

Well, I just ordered the setup that Surealistic has. Hopefully I'll get it before Saturday, and I'll post my pros/cons about it.

    Thanks for your opinions, everyone.

Well, I finally got it in, but I had to go to Chicago for a week. So far the keyboard and remote have been pretty reliable, but the mouse is kinda iffy. I've been having some random lag with it, which is a pain in the ass. I'm going to try to update the drivers tonight and see what happens.

    If anyone has some information on Bluetooth hardware, please post. D;

Prolly Nicest Keyboard ive owned is the - Logitech MX3100 - LX700 Keyboard + MX1000 Mouse Set...

The mouse is amazing... and the keyboard is 110% responsive considering it is all wireless.

I use this board in CS:S League matches and it hasnt let me down once.

The only thing bad thing about this is the mouse... depending on how hardcore you play during the day... as it may only last 22-26 hours.

But its a price you pay for a MX Laser Mouse
