Bonecraft. How much?

I don't understand why you guys help this guy out. He's putting zero actual thought into the craft and once he gets it up there he'll just undercut you to the point of stupidity because he can't think for himself and find his own niches.

How in gods name do you have any idea what I'm doing/going to do? stfu and die.

I'm saying you could spend a little bit of your own time actually researching this stuff. There are plenty of guides for every craft hanging around. There are guides which estimate how many synths you'll need per level. There are guides which even estimate how much certain stretches cost, and given a few price points, how you can extrapolate to your specific server.

All you have to do is LOOK and you'll find more information than you even thought you needed. But instead you'll come here and leech information and show no initiative to answer your questions on your own.

If you keep up that pattern of behavior, then yes you'll always just be one of the herd of sheep, never actually learning how to find your own way.

In all fairness, he only asked how much it would cost. Before I started, I had no idea how often I would get skillups, how much the skillups would be for, sellback price to NPC's etc. Sure he could look up all the ingredients on the AH for every synth and make an estimate, but that would take ages when he could just ask on a forum where there are at least a few people (eg. me) who are willing to answer what is a relatively simple and innocent question...

I'm sure by the time he is level 100 he will have better knowledge of the crafting system, but at level 0 I think it's a bit too much to ask somebody to have the same understanding as a veteran.

I been stuck on 89 for 4 months i got like .3 in 40+ synths of carapace gauntlets.but i can make 4-5 million a week easily without breaking a sweat with bonecraft, Pirate guns made me too much gil when ToAu came out.

I completely agree with aurik though. It takes a few minutes to an hour to look at alla or other forums and figure out the skill-up rate at particular levels. After that look at your ah and do the math.

If you can't even do that little work, then you might as well save your gil unless you just want the epeen of a 100 craft. Few items will give you net expected profit of more than 50k/ea. And it takes a long time to sell most HQ's at prices that don't drop your net expected profit to 0. It's the whole reason why the SH market is broken.

Because crafters skilled up at different times and every server is different. New expansions have new items which can radically alter the cost of skilling up and/or bridge otherwise long and costly gaps. Most of us did our own research, and the prices that we paid at the times we skilled up are different from now because of inflation and availability of materials.

Generally speaking, the reason most crafters become hostile when someone asks how much it costs to get a craft to 100, is because more often than not the next thing that person will ask is for someone to make a detailed roadmap so he/she does not have to bother to put any work into crafting at all.
