Let's play, "Spot the grammatical error."

This is an internet forum. It isn't a text message. Taking 10 seconds longer to correct your spelling and grammar will not kill you, and I don't like having to decipher what somebody is trying to say because they're too lazy to do it right in the first place.

this is the internet not english class, lighten up. if you can read it then obviously you got the point. if bad grammar, misspellings, and the usage of "ur" gets you rilled up then go post on an adult website. 90% of the people here arent even out of their teens.

    Decipher?

Doesn't take a crack squad to distinguish and decipher, "there, their and they're".

It does take an asshole, though.

    --

But, that aside-- Mikedee, Nice people... They work for some slimebucket piece of shit making millions off virtual currency and is most likely getting away with a violation of human rights. Sure, RMTs can be nice.. But a lot of them are mean, greedy spirited players. I hate the system and the men on top, more then the people on the bottom getting fucked.. but in this case, I hate them because they're too stupid to know they're getting fucked.

It's really not that much to ask for people to have some grammar and spelling correct in their post. What teenager do you know that is not in an English class at school? Do they turn papers in for said class with "lolz, u, and noob" in them? Don't try to say this isn't English class, I know it isn't, but when I read a post, if it is a wall of text, or I see the poster obviously has no intention of being gramatically correct, or can't take the time to look something up on dictionary.com,

    I SKIP OVER THEIR POST

and continue reading the other posts. 95% of the time, someone that can't type English correctly won't have anything worth reading to contribute to the thread.

All intarweb grammar/spelling flames require a minimum of one error of either type.

Is this a joke? You really want gilsellers to beat your ls to trail markings? And do you really think a gilseller ls getting currency is going to help people get relics done? Id rather see a new ls by normal players than a gilseller dynamis.... Think shit through before you speak
The main reason why people take months to upgrade relic weapons is because they can't get hold of enough currency. I didn't say GS would give it away, but it would be more readily available to buy to people upgrading if gilsellers did do dynamis than if they didn't.
And of course, other than a few crafting materials, the only reason gilsellers will be doing dynamis is for currency. And where do you get the most currency? Starter cities, because they're the easy. So, the 3 starter cities on your server is so packed that gilsellers can't do it twice a week? Jesus. I thought this through, and the positive points outweigh the cons.

That just made me laugh. "UHOH GUYS WE CAN'T DO DYNAMIS-BASTOK WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO?"
Quit and join a LS that does northern zones.
wait wait, does that not make you just as bad as someone who buys gil? facilitating and advancing the gil they get, which they would in turn sell?[/quote:ef3e3]

I'm not an avid follower of GS drama, but I do know that Midgard has always had Amemet covered by gilsellers 24/7 for an extraordinarily long time - probably still do. So by your logic, anyone with Amemet Mantle NQ/HQ on my server are supporting gilsellers. The item should be banned and discouraged by all legitimate players?

True relic upgraders don't have an issue with the money so much as the availability. People find out very early on if they can't afford it, those who can typically scour bazaars day in and day out. Now I'm sure there's all sorts of different levels of upgraders with different buying habits, but the vast majority of the ones I know snatch them up ANY chance they get. Go suicide yourself behind Jormungand with some currency in your bazaar and a search comment and you'll find upgraders swarming that mountain to be the first to get to your bazaar and buy before Jorm kills them.

Maybe it's just me and my past currency frenzy (I retired my relic effort) but I don't see buying their stuff the same as buying gil and supporting them. It'd never ever happen where no one would buy their Amemet Skins/dynamis currency/etc in an effort to stop them.
And I certainly wouldn't care if I was getting currency from gilsellers - the bottom line is I got currency. I'll be damned if I'd pass up their bazaars and let someone else buy the currency that could have been mine. Because the very next upgrader to open that bazaar will undoubtedly buy - making me the idiot who didn't. Call me a supporter of gilsellers if you will, I call you a fool to think people shouldn't buy their currency.

That is kind of stereotyping, not everyone is good in english some people are good at other subjects like math etc. My english sucks I barely even went to school does that mean I have nothing to contribute?

No it doesn't in fact I have 75 mage AND melee jobs so it is quite possible I could contribute more about this game than you =P. If you think I'm going to goto dictionary websites to check my spelling errors before i submit a post you are sadly mistaken, why don't you waste your time doing a survey to find out what color people would prefer you to post your text in?

I could easily sterotype you and say you have nothing to contribute because you are a pothead. But I won't because I smoke pot also and don't want to give it any bad publicity(irony =P).

Funny that the people agreeing with me make coherent posts, and the people disagreeing with me abbreviate their words, don't use capital letters, and call full stops 'periods'.

just like im sure when youre hanging out casually with friends you use complete proper english. enunciate all your words correctly and dont use slang lingo.

forums are casual, when i hand in papers for my english classes thats when i become conservative. i dont see how anything i have ever posted on a fourm hasnt been intelligent due to my casual tone. none of this matters regardless, well maybe just to uptight forum browsers.

you have free will, if you like what a person does or how they type then you can easily skip over what they say. youre in a domain where actions have no real consequences, aside from an empty "gtfo" or at the most an IP ban. some people just live to critisize and be cynical, fortunately those are the ones who die young to stress anyways.

The idea that Gillsellers will only bring down the cost of Dynamis coin makes me lolz. They never price shit cheap at least not on my server.

Oh well, SE via it's patches has all but made sure there's nothing at all you can do to the fucks. KB's meteor is really the only hope anymore when you need AOE death. Snolls and countless other ways of dealing with them have been removed.

75% of all statistics are made up on the spot, and only 18% of all people know that.

Look at me! I can pull numbers out of my ass, too!

The fact is, I don't take people that can't use proper grammar correctly very seriously. Typing your primary language shouldn't be a chore to you; it should come on a whim and be pretty simple.

That is a fairly awkward sentence structure. You should revise it to better underline your main assertion. I would suggest either dropping the 'proper' or 'correctly' because as it stands, the usage of both is a redundancy.
