On asura drk/nin sodomize wyrms, both JP and NA LS's, Melee/thf or /drk or /nin rape kirin and sky gods.

Allience of melee can tear shit up in dynamis (yes, I was running a melee dynamis too, so im not pulling this outta my ass. Go go 18 man dynamis BCD), aswell as limbus, since those mobs have too much HP and such little amount of participants to manazerg most towers. Majority of limbus zones are melee friendly.

BLM are preferred for all that stuff on my server (yes even half damage on wyrms.)

Not really, there has been arguments about blm nerfs of every kind on here, alla, and KI. Doesn't make it any less stupid though. People would rather weaken (and pretty much defeat) one job, rather than strengthening others and/or problem solving situations that would normally be tough with a low amount / no blms.

Sure theres random stuff like that jailer in sea that takes almost zero melee damage, animated shield has huge magic defense and weapons in one limbus that completely resist all spells.

Those are just single mobs though, not an entire huge event which was much touted as being new and exciting and allowing everyone to participate.

They should un-nerf IV spells; besides Lylie I think everyone is in agreement on that. It's dumb to have a job with zero redeeming abilities in an event intended for mass participation. Yea, most of the blms here could switch jobs, but what about the first-job non-haijin "casual" 75 blms? This has to suck for them. If you're listening, SE, fix this shit.

Even allowing ga3 to do 75-100% normal damage but multiplying the hate generated by the number of targets hit would work great. That would mean you could use it situationally. Ga3 spells are really mp inefficient when used on single targets, and if you cast on more than 3-4 you'd guarantee your own death.

There are just so many good solutions that won't turn beseiged back into Black Mage Fantasy 11. I expect SE will continue to tweak it, and I hope they move closer to the balance point.

That said, I think all the soggy-diaper blms are kinda funny. Welcome to the same game that everyone else has been playing for 2+ years!

Meh, if BLM is your only high level job, I'm sorry, but you can't be a knowledgeable player in all aspects of the game. I'm leveling WAR or SAM next so I can see things from both sides of the game.

If you are someone that only has BLM main, go fucking manaburn or solo a KSNM or an ENM, let the melee have something fun for them for once. Haven't you heard of SHELL? Wouldn't you think that some mobs would be allowed to have that?

Maybe now when besieged happens, I will be allowed to not be BLM for once. I would much rather be WHM than BLM, but linkshell needs come first, and I usually end up nuking at LS events.
