Once again, this is a besieged thread which, at the time of max's afforementionned post, had deteriorated to BLM's being pissed about their uselessness in beseiged...

Now, I understand that you get points for "Doing your job" but I have an odd question...

I did a lv.5 Undead attack this morning as 75DRK/37SAM, thinking more damage = more points... I busted out around 7-8 800+ Spinning slashes, tried all my absorbs, drain, aspir (although it would only work on the lamia, obviously).

I only recieved 421xp, when everyone else was jumping for joy at 700xp... I never HP'ed, and only died once witha quick raise.

Anyone have an idea as to what DRK should be doing? lol (I can already see the smart ass comments coming.)

I dont know how you get exp there but i know when i was on BLM i did like 200 damage per nuke for like 15-20 mins. When i was on RDM i just sat back casting thundaga doing about 2-4 damage to all mobs in area and i got like 700exp that time.

I just did a Mamool Lv.5 Besiged...

Yeah... almost 800 people there, it was a huge lag fest, but I decided not to dual weild axes, an still went /SAM.

I did absorbs, poisonga, all that jazz.... Ended up getting my 700XP, only died once, <3 RR Earring.

went on my 35Blue Mage to be cool and stuff, died like three times.

Was dead when it ended no exp but I almost got 100 IS!!! >.>
alot of people died, and yeah max in the zone of course.

anyone ever had over 750 people at al zabi (sp), cause had a friend tryng to zone in and game wouldnt let him >.>;, so is there like a cap on amount of people aloud in area? or just friends bad luck :S?

Yeah, you can't get in that way. The best way to get in is to keep zoning rapidly from whitegate, sooner or later you will get in if a couple of people dc. 750 is max.

I couldn't get my main in since she was logged in that zone, but I was able to get my mule in from whitegate.

There's already bad enough lag there. IE:
I'll use my equip macro, but my char won't do anything..just wear my TP gear. But when I go into my equip screen it shows my equip changed to WS. When I actually use my WS sometimes it drains my TP, but doesn't show my char doing the animation, and it doesn't show on my log. My char doesn't 'faze' out there either.

I think that's a new level of lag, atleast for me.

I had that problem when 750 people were in zone. When i was getting hit by mobs i didnt even see them on my screen lol. I would cast Firaga and see the mp go down but i never saw my guy cast or see the damage in chat log 75% of time.

Lineage II had simplified graphics when they had castle seiges. I vote red dots are enemies and green dots are allies.

The key is to know when the dark staff is necessary. I use my AF1 body ad my AF2 boots and have a decent time sleeping a lot of stuff, but if I'm actually desperate to sleep something, the something to sleep is very hard, I can't melee it anyways, or I'm weakened I pull out the dark staff.

And don't say you should be better than DRG. DRG is far from shitty, if you don't know it you have never given it a real shot.

Spare me the ridicule of defending him, but I honestly don't think he's that dumb to list "Warp" and "Warp II" as a way for BLMs to participate in Besieged. I don't know whether or not he thought you could sleep mobs in Besieged, but I'm at least giving him the benefit of the doubt instead of fishing and homing on ways to insult him.

Warp II is probably very good in beseiged. Invite 5 dragoons and D2 during the fight, with all the lag, they will never see it coming. And that is 10 less things in the zone. And you get IS!

DRG is ok in xp but it's about as useless as a DRK/THF in merits and its way less useful than a DRK on HNM only because it can't stun.
