Just a quick question, why does everyone want Ridley so badly? I mean he's a bad ass boss, but, comin back from 4chan, seems like people would kill just to play with him. I don't understand why.

Some people wanted there to be an appropriate antagonist for each of the 8 original characters, I've read. (Mario:Bowser, Link:Ganon, Pika:Mewtwo, Kirby:Dedede, Samus:Ridley, Fox:Wolf?, DK:K. Rool, Yoshi:Shy Guy?)

So the latest character select screen, involving all the revealed characters, (the returning guys, Snake, Lucario, and Robot) has exactly four rows, including the random spot. Which is good news, considering it doesn't have Sonic or Jigglypuff on it, and apparently no one has met Sonic in the first player mode. (or at least I assume so, I'd guess there'd be pictures of that if it happened) So I'm holding out for there to be even more characters unlocked outside of Story Mode (come on, Animal Crosser!) to fill up the remaining area, none of this 35 character bullshit.

Also, what's with the ordering of the characters being different in every screenshot. That's a little odd that spots aren't designated and are simply appended to the character list..
