As I said I always played by selecting random characters and we always turned out with an equal amount of wins that way. The game was never made to be turned into tiers. Especially when you come out being so combative, you need to relax a little.

*Opinions are fine, but the tiers are based on in-depth study of a LARGE variety of playstyles and situations and all that jazz. FFXI-Note: Its my opinion that WoW is better than FFXI. <= See how stupid we sound? (no this isnt anything against wow people, just trying to make ffxi-joyous people to understand._

*"I"-statements, what a joy. Small sets of personal findings mean nothing mean nothing to the seasoned player. You've been sheltered to high-end SSBM. FFXI-Note: "I" think dragoon is the best DD in the game because the wyvern adds extra damage to my high dmg weapon, and uses breath whenever I WS. Im sure we've heard this kind of I-statement before (nothing against drgs, they're good lower level :D)

*"we"-statements. How many is "we"? is it your little brother? or is it east coast vs west coast vs everything inbetween vs japan vs netherlands vs etc.? See "I"-statements.

Im sure everyone here knows that SE never meant Ninja to be a main tank, but look how well it turned out SE was pleased to find out what the players could do with the job, and we're all the better for it. Summoners are meant to be damage dealers. Look how well that went pre-70. /whm. Im sure you look at SMN/BLM with a special kind of disgust, and when that smn /tells you "I'm not a healer, added MP from /blm to DD." you blist or look for another healer. Tiers are player-made, a lot of the best things are, stop being idiodic about it and accept that maybe, just maybe, a large community of dedicated smash players would know more about smash that a large community of ffxi players.

*Attacking people. Scrubs get defensive about sucking/being stupid. S'ok, we understand your pain, we were all scrubs once (or still are and still have a fuckton of fun with our scrub friends, no harm done :D)

Please please please understand something: I'm sure most of you dont care, and dont believe in the tiers. Thats probably because you havent (sorry to say) reached the peak of your game. The best of the best play with the best, and understand the tier system. Tiers dont apply to you until you max out your game, because tiers assume the best performance possible, and only apply to the top players.

Its like some of you refuse the fact that ninja can be an affective tank :/ really.

i dislike the special kinds of melee, because they throw off timing and stuff

slo-mo battles are fun if you play regular friends and stuff, and you get good smashes in and its like "OMG HERE IT COMES!" "OHNOES!" "AHAHAHAHA"

A friend of mine challenged me to smash the other day and put 20$ on the match. MLG Rules and we played Corneria. I raped him so hard lol. Then he complained about how Ness was too slow to keep up with my Sheik, and I tried explaining tiers and about how Sheik, Marth and Peach are all top tier. My friend started talking about no MLG pro uses Peach or Sheik and how the best uses Marth or something. Anyway.... I played him again as Peach and still beat him and then my friends finally started to understand tiers. Now this kid I raped on Ness wants me to be his doubles partner at MLG Chicago lol.

Is anyone here going to MLG Chicago? Me and 5 friends are renting out 2 hotel rooms and staying for the whole event, 3 days. 4 friends on Halo, and 2 of us are going to be entering smash, I might be doubling with this other kid if I can't find a doubles partner. If you're good at smash and going to MLG Chicago post and we might be able to be doubles partners!
