Also, what's with the ordering of the characters being different in every screenshot. That's a little odd that spots aren't designated and are simply appended to the character list..

If you look at all of the select screens, you'll notice all of the characters are always in the same order, but not necessarily in the same row. For instance marth could be in the beginning of the second row, or the end of the first row depending on how many characters you have unlocked.

So the latest character select screen, involving all the revealed characters, (the returning guys, Snake, Lucario, and Robot) has exactly four rows, including the random spot. Which is good news, considering it doesn't have Sonic or Jigglypuff on it, and apparently no one has met Sonic in the first player mode.

Uhm, from this select screen currently has 31 characters + random:

So the four missing characters from that roster (wolf, jigglypuff, sonic, WW link), would still keep it an even 4 rows. Not to mention that roster called ALL of the characters in the correct order so far.

It's weird how they set up the roster this time. Seems to go vertically: first column is Mario Bros. characters, second is DK with Mario overflow, etc.

Is it confirmed that "Robot" is R.O.B.? If so, he should be where the Cap is I dunno, I guess I'm more used to them being categorized by row rather than by column.

I found that odd as well tbh, especially when Bowser is still "Koopa", but I posted it anyway. ^_^

Edit: Here's a different one with everyone but Wolf on it. It looks like it says Purin or Purinrin or whatever in there.
