The moan you heard earlier was the sound of thousands of cross-platform fanboys orgasming simulataneously. Because Nintendo is clearly treating everyone's characters with the same respect they give their own. (No sarcasm.)

I just can't believe how amazing this game is going to be. i never quite understood what made people spend $500-$600 on a console or thousands on a PC just to play one game.

Now I do. I dare say I'd max out a credit card or two if it meant playing this.

They even (from what i have seen), announced another type of online besides fighting, supposedly online Adventure-co-op, and of course they haven't revealed everything yet.


Make no mistake, this game is going to be epic in more than a few different ways.

Correct. There are other reasons why it shouldn't change for US, but that was one of the biggest reasons there.

Sounds plausible to me, but the change on the offiical site of the NA date to TBA also has me quite worried...

I'm afraid this one is going to be the least balanced of the series, at least with super-smashes, but I think those will be able to be turned off, so that's good.

EDIT: Oh yeah, apparently translation differences make it seem Japan doesn't care about Sonic.

But also note that Christmas means jack shit to Japan, because they aren't a Christian influenced country.
Christmas is one of the biggest shopping seasons in the US, and it would be retarded for Nintendo to take one of their most anticipated games out of that season.

For people that want Mega Man, I seriously doubt he will be in it. He was in Marvel Vs. Capcom series. You think they would put him in another fighting game? Just my opinion that he won't be in it because of that. Bomberman on the other hand, that seems possible. Really excited about Sonic being added though.
