Now every time I talk to the moogles with a full inventory, he tries to give me a free chocopass. I did this yesterday on 4 of my characters/mules, then chose to wait, then again today. Before they would offer other things besides chocopass, at random (8/8 is not very random), and waiting 1 day would let you get a rare ex item pretty much 100% of the times (at least for me), now it's a chocopass every time even with wait as long as you have your inventory full...

Still on 4 different characters the same exact item? That never happened to me all the previous times (even getting a bad reward I would get different fireworks etc).

And the whole point of 'waiting might give you a better item' text used by the moogle wouldn't make sense anymore.

I guess my plan on my main will be to wait every other day hoping to get only rare ex items and the gold belt as one of them

Yeah if you attempt to claim prize with full inventory, it will always say you can't obtain the chocopass. This doesn't mean that your reward for the day is a chocopass it just means that SE doesn't like you peeking.

I picked wait 3 days in a row then asked for my gift today, Gold Moogle Belt. Can't say that's the trick to getting it, but at least looks like its a possibility.

I have such an extreme rate of joining alliances compared to joining parties lol.

This is with 2 jobs to 75 (RDM, BLM) and 271 days of playtime. I'd say 5-10 days of that spend AFK bazaaring overnight.
