That's what I was thinking...the rage timers are there because SE says "Hey whoever claims this gets 1 Hour to try to kill it" and if you cant then we all die and someone else gets a chance. Fuck, if two people held it for one hour so what? They'll be dead in an hour -.-

Depending on position and graphic effects, I've easily gotten down to 2 FPS. Its normal in aery. I've gotten down to 3-5 FPS while doing tiamat with only 40 in zone. It happens, just learn to deal with it.

Either learn to deal with the lag or start going to camps in 640x480 with a lower back buffer. Looking at those graphics it's not really surprising you lagged to hell with so many people around.

This thread is terribly misnamed. I got to watch a raged Fluffy run around one-shotting people in two LSes (different from the OP) who claimed before rage wore off. Good times.

the only way to avoid a crowd around faf on midgard seems to be when FAF is at a bad time. Anytime the TOD is after 3PM EST there is easily 100+ in the Zone and everyone stands at the dragons feet .-.

My advice is, if you're going to lag, don't tank on ninja because getting shadows up can be tricky. Curing yourself on PLD isn't.

Also turn off shadows and battle graphics.

There is no way that is your graphics turned down...I can't even see grains...

try downloading moogletoolz, awesome program. Just gotta turn graphic setting to low or dynamis, it works wonders (you can still tell the little blob is you)

I actually don't try to claim as BRD/WHM...and the darters are gone because I got so damn sick of them at Processionaire camps when exping that they had to be removed...this was just coincidence
