That usually takes place when they don't have any free runways. It's kinda creepy how close they are to each other.

The music makes it about 10 times more humorous.

Reminds me taking something to wipe off the chemical trail in a line of ants. Amusing.

I just find it funny how so many land there yet you never see any leave. Where do they store them all?

And the one plane that went to another airport to land.

To clear things up - being the resident aviator apparently... aircraft can be put into "holds" for a variety of reasons. Delays, piss poor weather, busy airports etc - or to simply maintain separation minimums between aircraft... Hell - you can even request a hold if you really wish to. Gotta practice them sometime. Although they may look like they are in the same area, the aircraft in question are no doubt holding at different altitudes.. Stack em like layers in a cake and let em go when traffic or priorities allow. You can spot a couple of them holding in what is mostly an oval shape - like a giant racetrack. Many of the rest are simply being given vectors and told where to fly.

For the most part you really don't get tossed into holds that often. In the past 3 years I've been asked to hold just once and that was only for one "lap" around the pattern so to speak - just a couple of minutes. Given my clearance shortly after and in for landing I went.

As far as that video goes - not a chance that's 100% FedEx traffic. A slew of airliners and cargo no doubt. Fun stuff though. Seems intimidating to many but it isn't that bad as long as everybody follows the correct procedures and being pilots - we tend to ;D

Well there aren't that many of us ;D It's a small community. Corporate is the goal but right now it's just light twins for me. Gotta keep building time and that shit isn't cheap.

So, you're stupid and shouldn't be given the oportunity to get a real job?

Seriously dude I hate ffxi as much as you do I'm sure, but we both played it and had a lot of fun doing it. Get over yourself, just because you decided to move on doesn't mean everyone else in the world should follow you.

It's getting to the point where I'm half expecting to see one of the WoW players fart, stick their face in their ass to smell it, and come up with a big dumb grin.

edit: and no, I don't play ffxi anymore

What kind of training did you start out w/? Like private lessons w/ Cessnas?
I work for Fedex and they do reimburse for pilot lessons. I kinda wanna fly the cargo planes. Not really sure how to start out. ;x
