Assault - Confirm Rank-Up Requirements?

That *should* be 25 points, but I haven't ranked up still...

It should be. I imagine most likely you did some of these before your first rankup (I am assuming you are talking about the second rankup?) and people have reported points start back from zero at rankup. You would be the first exception to the rule so far.

I just thought I would confirm that I got the rank up after the 25 point system (did all but Lebros for PFC, then spammed Lamia 13), but as mentioned in Coe's post right above me I had basically every quest in Town done so my "fame" is maxed.

You can check the first seven pages, no exceptions there. Fame also does not affect this. The additional factor that wasn't immediately obvious in the first few pages was that the 25 point count resets at rank up.

As far as we know it fit in Aurik's record, he just didn't want to check for whatever reason. You didn't remember yours very well, then it seemed like it fit, then you changed your mind.. And a someone heard from a friend that they got rank up differently but is not sure.
In these situations it's important to be specific and accurate with details, or come up with specific tests and verify things, which is what everyone else has been doing on this so far, that's how people figured out the point reset at rank up for example.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but the guy in Salaheem's Sentinels next to Naja will tell you vaguely how close you are to the next rank if you ask him to tell you about "Mercenary Assessments".

I have been doing assaults with my ls for the past few weeks and the 25 point system seems good. I did find one person that didn't know they had lost an assault. Just a reminder to make sure you check your mission log. hehe (see my post a few pages ago).

Sorry to bump this...

But I just finished my 25th Golden Salvage since I obtained Private First Class (I've not done a single PFC mission, just Golden Salvage) and I got the Dark Rider CS with Najaa.

Its already been necro-bumped, so I might as well share.

I did enough Excavation points to net me around 14000 points with 4 people. (Was helping friends get Yigit boots. I got two chivilarious chains and just sold, had about 2000 points to begin with from. 64 points now) I did Lamia 13 once, Mamool Ja but timed out with 3 people, Requiem once, Orichalium(sp) Survey once but again timed out with 3 people, Never attemped the Lebros escort.

Having all the above requirements minus Requiem completed, no cutscene. I did requiem and checked again a few days later, cutscene.

Ok not sure if this is related and sorry if someone else posted this but I didn't see it.

A few days ago I finished a besieged, and I saw a message I never saw before. I wish I could have SSed it but I'm on ps2. It said something to the effect of, "Ksandra's reputation has increased." Never seen it before in besieged. I had done tons of one assault (got my yigit hands) but until I saw this message I couldn't get the cs for the quest for PFC (I did check after getting the gloves thinking I might have done it). But after seeing that message I thought it was odd and went to the mithra and lo' I got a cs.

So unless this was a glitch I'm guessing that you can earn points through besieged as well to increase your rank, though I have no idea what the points would be for it.
