Desynth a tarutaru?
Desynth a tarutaru?
Also, I hear lots of people saying "they know someone with a Gorget" or they've "seen someone wearing it". One thing I've never ever seen is a screenshot of someone with the Goret equipped. I command thee to produce screenshots, otherwise I still don't believe anyone has one.
It's on page 1 of this thread lol

Use the search function, there's been at least one.
Pshh, you think I can actually be bothered to look at page 1?!
Anyway, so much for that theory lol.
Fresh Blood would be a good thing to try. So would Flaxseed Oil. Less likely, but still possible, is River Foliage and Sea Foliage. Let's not forget that every single other forced pop NM that was introduced at that time are popped from items that are synthesized, and every single recipe uses an ingredient that was also introduced in the same update. So... yea, try Fresh Blood.Originally Posted by Serif
Most popped mobs synthesis items come from mobs of the same type, don't they?
Haku->eyes from other hecteyes
Gration->Hickory from gigas
Culberry->White Steel / Magnolia from Tonberry/Cryptonberry
Alastor->HQ antlion jaws from antlions
Goblin Collector->Moblin sheep wool/leather from moblins
Rutter Sabaton guy->Air tanks from goblins
etc etc etc
Logically the "key" for the synthesis should drop from goblins or moblins somewhere.
I bet that this nm has something to do with sheep. Wolves prey on sheep, and moblins drop moblin sheepskin. Unfortunately the only recipe associated with moblin sheep skin is a premium bag?Originally Posted by aurik
Fresh Blood is already used to pop a NM, Chocoboleech in Dangruf Wadi, drops Gassan, low level katana. (Someone prolly posted this but eh)
So what items were added in the patch and aslo drop from Gobs/Mobs in the area? I have a Fingernail Sack and Movalpolous Water on me atm. Tried a bunch of stuff but nothing so far. I'll look at subbing in some fresh blood tho. Not really getting far tho, lol...
I tried to ask Ingram, cause I saw him with it. He said he didn't know how. I told him it was lame to keep secrets and shit but he tried to say he wasn't. So I asked who his friend was that killed it for him and he stopped talking to me. Ingram is a fag. Anyone on Ifrit who sees him, ask him. I mean everyone. People like this are pathetic.
Maybe you strain vegetables through moblin sheep wool? Dunno. But the line of thought it still valid, probably uses a drop from a goblin somewhere as the farm-item for the synth.Originally Posted by Cylo
I know, but........... whose to say it can't be used in this recipe also? Anyway, with all the talk about it being related to blood, it's certainly ridiculous not to try Fresh Blood. Fuck it, it's a wolf right? Just try trading fresh blood directly to the Scrawled Writing. I know it's already used for something else, but try it anywayOriginally Posted by Shuemue
Oh yea, and still don't forget about Flaxseed Oil, that does come from vegetables doesn't it?
Yep, definitely not worth totally discounting, just think it unlikely.Originally Posted by divisortheory
Yeah pretty much, it's some kind of crop thingy :DOh yea, and still don't forget about Flaxseed Oil, that does come from vegetables doesn't it?
Carnation is the only flower (lets call it a vegetable, the jap. signs for flowers and vegetables can be the same) regarding to blood and flesh, drops by Gob. Archaelogist and isnt used in any recipe besides quivering arrows "quest".
---> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carnation
"Some scholars believe that the name "carnation" comes from "coronation" or "corone" (flower garlands), as it was one of the flowers used in Greek ceremonial crowns. Others think the name stems from the Latin "carnis" (flesh), which refers to the original color of the flower, or incarnacyon (incarnation), which refers to the incarnation of God made flesh."
SE likes those analogys and mythology referrings.
Only want to say it, that we maybe dont need blood for this recipe.

I'm even more confused now.
maybe its not a goblin/moblin at all, but a wolf model.
Just as Goblin Gruel ?
I dont feel its the same tbh, Goblin Wolfman really sounds like a classic goblin name... But meh, why not.... Do you know any uncommon item dropped by a wolf somewhere ?
It would be quite funny if you could trade the fresh blood directly to the spot to pop the NM. (I tossed out dozens of them when I was leveling low jobs in Gustaberg.)Originally Posted by divisortheory
