Anyway, the Goblin drink (along with chocolate and pies) is mentioned as something that the goblin vendors were selling to the adventurers during the costume festival on Halloween.

So, I guess that the Goblin Drink is probably a 'sweet' thing? Might be worth trying goblin chocolate or the ffxi-version of coco beans.

It obviously uses vegetables too. Perhaps a "sweet vegetable"?

It doesn't exactly need to be a sweet vegetable, if it does work like goblin foods, the sweet item could be one of the "odds" needed

EDIT: And the only "sweet" vegetable that I can name off the top of my head would be an ogre pumpkin, most vegetables aren't sweet, probably the best bet on finding sweet ones would be root vegetables (like carrots and etc.)

I would like to ask again when goblin drink was introduced because somepage usually are able to find all the new items introduced in a patch but I've looked through all of the updates and can't find goblin drink.

Like I said before, the item that pops goblin wolfman is most likely from that list. If you can find the patch that added gobin drink, I would like to see it.

Goblin Drink was released in the same update as Parade Gorget.

Somepage has recently deleted the Goblin Drink from their database.

This is so 3 pages ago >.> but Hotrok and Moval Water, is a no-go.
I'm leaning against another quest's R/E stuff being required for this, it just doesn't seem to jive with the rest of the pop NMs SE added around the same time.
I can still see the Fingernail Sack, Goblin Cup possibly being used, just because other items that you dig up can be used in other recipes.

In the 1st Moval Quest, when you return the key item Pointed Jug to Ravorara, the midget speaketh such:
"I'm not entirely sure what this is, but the smell is horrendificacious. Could this be some variety of Moblin beverage? I would like to transportimize this to the Rhinostery for further investimigazition, but I doubt I'd be allowed on the airship"
<.< I read that the first time... I saw Goblin Drink so I got stoked.. then I reread it. Finished that quest (unfortunately was not able to reacquire the Pointed Jug), and ran back to Windy to check with the Rhinostery, none of them say anything regarding the drink. Still need to check with Ravorara after I complete the 3rd(annoying) Moval quest. While I had the Pointed Jug in Key-Items, and after I had checked it, I tried trading some Moval water, Melon Juice, Holy Water, "Nothing Happens".

There was an mithra behind the Rhinostery, who stated:
"When I look at these flowers I feel like having a drink. But then again, I feel like having a drink all of the time. If only I had some Fluoro-flora juice. It's as bitter as uncooked Gysahl greens, but the taste reminds me of home. The original Fluoro-flora seeds are from the mithra homeland you see."
Doesn't really feel related, could find no mention of anything Fluoro or Flora (besides cotehardie) on Somepage.

Could someone search for the NPC dialogue in Windurst-Waters? Maybe the little footballs give it out at some point (doubtful, but grasping at straws).

Well, I've dug up a Fingernail sack and a cup (along with a bajillion Die, Teethsacks and fishbones..), and enlisted the help of a chef to help me out. I'll try some of the more reasonable recipes with the Hotrok (already done the Ule.. Range map quest, got this 2nd Hotrok first frickin' kill >.<), but only a 40 cook myself.

We're getting focused on the Goblin Drink again, just have to remember that during the same update SE did add poppable NMs besides Kurrea, Shen, Shieldtrap and such, they also added Ziphius and Mychophile (and that Honey NM and Distilled Water NM), mobs that use standard/old things, but like stacks/multiple attempts to try to pop it.

Just want to back up what Tordall said about the goblin drink being a 'sweet.'

Reading the Japanese article Divisortheory posted, the drink is listed with goblin pie and goblin chocolate as a sweet that is always clinging to/following goblins. It's explicitly called okashi in Japanese, which literally translates to sweets. It seems odd because I rarely see/hear drinks called okashi.

This may seem like a dumb question, but anyone just tried trading standard beverages? lol. like yagudo drink, melon juice, chamomile tea, royal tea, chai, etc etc.

Yes, Selbina Milk, Chamo Tea, Melon Juice, Yag Drink, Mary's Milk, Vampire Juice, Distilled Water, Holy Water, Movalopolis Water... I'm missing one I've tried, can't get at my notes atm. None of these work. I haven't tried au Laits yet.

EDIT: I'm leaning away from the blood theory personally, nothing strongly suggests Wolfman or anything from the Scrawled Writing... only clue is that a semi-literate person is parched.

Got some Water Anima I'm gonna try, working on that third Moval Quest atm, got one other lead I'm pursuing, post more later.
