Parade Gorget revisited.

Does the writings for that NM moves around? I could have sworn I've seen it somewhere else.

There are three places it can spawn. I don't believe it moves around of it's own free will but only when someone pops it (lol) or after a maint.

Birds blood won't work, it was added in an update after Goblin Wolfman, if you have a theory please check to make sure it's item was added on/before July '05

Goblin Drink was released in the same update as Parade Gorget.

Somepage has recently deleted the Goblin Drink from their database.

Goblin drink was in the search datebase when I asked the first time but it wasn't on the update list.

Okay, checking my notes here's the other things I have tried:
Chocomilk
Ether
Potion
Fiend Blood
Water Anima

I've also tried drinking a Moval Water and trading some other fluids, but don't think that's it... I filed that in my zany but useless ideas section, along with casting Water, Enwater around/near the Scrawled Writing. Been there, done that, still didn't get the T-shirt.

Does anyone remember the stats that Somepage stated the Goblin Drink granted, before they removed it?

While doing Return to the Depths, you observe two goblins in a CS. I didn't write it down exactly, but Pawnpix states "You said they'd love Sprigs of Mugwort, they'll love Moorish Idols, they'll love pieces of Angel Skin. You said they'll hate Bulbs of Misareux Garlic" Later on right before the BC you need an Ahriman Tears to go to the BC.
I was excited when I saw them start listing ingredients... that excitement died when they said Angel Skin... I'm gonna be pissed if a level 50 PLD item (if it works as promised a very good 50 PLD item) requires a bloody Angel Skin.
Comes down to a simple fact. I'm obsessed with this mystery, but I ain't stupid. If I'm not going to burn a Divine Log to prove that Amrita is a definite No, I ain't gonna burn 2 M just in the off chance that you can somehow put coral into a green drink...
Now I need to find 5 fools goofy enough to do a lot of running back and forth between Bastok and Moval and Jeuno and Kazham, just in the offchance the BCNM and subsequent talk with Rovarara provides any more clues, that don't involve 2M+ items...

If they removed it, I can't imagine they ever knew. It would just be the stats that comes from drinking Goblin Drink in the cyber hostel and they've been stated in one of the two Parade Gorget threads somewhere. Dig around or pop in to the hostel and drink one yourself.

Try drinking moval water, then give Wolfy some Yellow Liquid. Who knows, maybe he's into that sort of thing

If someone on Valefor splits the cost with me, I'll try it. Terms are:

- Give me 50% of the price of a D. Log
- I'll get the sap and the drink synthed.
- I'll uncurse the drink and trade the beverage.
- If it works and pops the NM you keep the gorget.
- If synth breaks I'm not trying again.
- I will screenshot myself trading it to the Scrawled Writing so that if it doesn't work there will be definitive proof that it doesn't work.

Haven't followed up on this thread since page 5 or so, but quickly scanned through to see if anyone had mentioned divine sap/cursed beverage.

About 2 months ago on Fairy, a divine sap (not for sale, just listed) popped up on the AH and then shortly after, a cursed beverage. We lol'd about it in LS and I jokingly replied someone probably made the mistake of using a water crystal instead of wind when making a Togi or something.

But ya, we know mistakes like that don't happen (who carries water crystals anyways?) with any semi-competent crafter so it was obviously deliberate. I check bazaars frequently for dynamis currencies and about a month or so ago stumbled across another divine sap in a JPs bazaar.

I haven't seen or looked for any parade gorgets and I forget the JP's name that had the sap in bazaar so I can't say for sure but it seems like it might be the missing ingredient. Pricy experiment but might be worth a shot.

Hey guys this is my first post on theorder site my name in game is Slayne i am on the diabolos server and i have been intrested in finding out how ot make a goblin drink just b/c this NMis pissing me off and i can't even use the thing!

anyway a friend of mine did some digging up and found what seems to be a way to craft the goblin drink
1x dark crystal
1x windurstian tealeaves
2x gysahl greens
1x fingernail sack
1x honey
1x crawler egg
1x distilled water

dunno if it is cooking or alc but i assume cooking and it says lvl 60
if i am wrong please do not flame me it's not my info just trying to help
i just want to fight him now i am a thf get nothing from the gorget lol
also i have opened alot of chests since maps and only gotten gil so far
i do not have the link to the website this info was givin to me i should have gotten the link but if the craft works does it matter?
better yet if it doesn't work does that matter LOL

I still think that recipe is the closest thing so far. The original post containing that recipe even contained a comment about how there was something missing. All other goblin items use 8 ingredients also, that one has 7. I think people should play with that recipe some more, but adding an 8th ingredient.

I can't imagine someone would be willing to lose maybe $5m gil per pop item over just being the only one with the gorget. Makes you wonder whether the pop item is something very basic or whether it can be synthed in the first place.

People have tried it, I have tried it. It doesn;t work. If you read the thread you would see we said we think somehting is missing because that is the best looking reciepe. It could be completly different tho. I've had my cook try like a billion things, sorry if I can't list them all. We subbed in like every vegetable ever known.
