During the BLM AF quest, it at least tells you to activate an ability to help flush the magic junk or whatever. There's no hint at all on the Scrawled Writing about this.

Good idea Siskind, I'll grab a few shrooms and see if the mycophile ??? returns a different message if you trade the wrong number, wrong combo of shrooms. Just left Oldton, still working the other quests in there, gonna try a few synths with all the items mentioned in the quests there, once I get done with the two fights.

If I recall correctly, I thought it just said there wasn't enough power, but never explicitly stated you had to use Manafont to be able to channel enough power to it.

Distilled Water, Molvapolos Water, and Hallowed Water all at the same time!

Since its a goblin, you'd probably have to trade 8 waters at once. lol

So, not really a good argument for SE not being complete and utter bastards and providing no hints if it is a combo. But this one does state in its pop that it requires 3.
I've tried 12 Moval, 12 Distilled and numerous other items I had in inventory.... I filled up the slots with all these items and more.
I just don't know with this thing anymore... why couldn't this have happened to a different item in the update? T.T;

Hm, I recall from sea pop NMs that if you trade more than what you're supposed to, it will take the maximum ammount it can take. (For example, If you trade 5 hq aern organs to Ix'MNK, it will take 3 and will go through, and you'll keep the 2 unused ones)

If someone can test that with other NMs from that patch, it would make it a bit easier to test different combinations.

Question : What are all possible situations where the siren in Oldton Molvapolos is going off, but the siren in Gusgen Mines is not going off?

If it's related to the siren, which I still find doubtful, that could be one explanation why the guy wanted Ingram or whoever it was to stand outside of the zone. So the guy didn't know the siren was going off.

I can think of why he wouldn't want the guy standing near him (for example if you had to use an item first, he didn't want the guy seeing that he used the item). But making him stand outside the zone is just weird.

The story when the PLD was told to not even be in the zone does seem odd but ... isn't that the same PLD who went with the guy who works at SE? If that story is true it would make sense that the PLD wasn't around. The guy tradding wanted to give no clues, possibly not even the pos for the scrawled writtings. Also, maybe he didn't want to risk the PLD getting a screen shot of him poping it, or risk him sneak/invis up and taking a SS. If you could get fired for doing something chances are you'll be a secretive as possible, assuming you want to keep your job.

Or that story is total BS and there is something inside Oldton that we are all missing.

Maybe the reason why nobody is bazaaring the pop item is because the pop item is actually a common item instead of a specially crafted one. Even if they bazaar it, no one would know its the pop item (given that it might cost something). Consequently, they also don't want any one to find out the actual pop item.

Hey guys, long time reader, first time poster. I found the Drink in the Hostel. /sarcasm (I knew you were being sarcastic Divisortheory... but I can't tell if Aurik is being sarcastic now either)
