This is probably wrong but I'll throw it out there anyway. I was reading through the link Mugmug posted and came upon a part where someone posted the recipe but also said they put some false information in there. Here's the text I found:

I will try that later if I've some time. Ingredient seem awfully easy to gather for a popped NM tho.

That recipe only has 7 items as compared to the 8 in every other goblin item. Maybe the "one thing not right" with that recipe is the 8th item they are hiding, and people have suggested blood which would go with the Wolfman idea and support the idea of 2 Wierd items, 1 being fingernails the other being the blood.

When someone tries the recipe, if it doesnt work on its own, try adding in different kinds of bloods.

From what Mugmug posted again Bird Blood was mentioned but the person said he hadn't managed to get a drop from the Buburimu Leeches.

If the recipe is true then this item is probably the hardest one to get because there are a dozen items the goblin can bury AND AND the fucking Goblin Digger buries an item like every 15min or so.

On another note, maybe I'm crazy, but isn't there any goblin who talk about making drink wit finger nail? I swear I read that somewhere from a npc?

I tried a few, but it's not always possible, and sometime, too much trouble to try. I tried 20-25 vegetable combo with movalpolis water, and I never got anything. I tried a few drink similarto Yagudo drink (forgot what tho), but nothing again.


No clue if I will be able to try that fingernail recipe. Chocobo digging is a bitch, and spending 5 hours if not more to dig an item that will probably do nothing doesn't excite me that much.

Good luck with the craft, but you should try cheaper blood first, and maybe movalpolos water if it exist on your server.

Actually, I think I will ask him to craft me one then, and when he put it in the trading window, I will just trade it against another, then shout the recipe.

My original thought was to send him a tell with all 8 ingredients in auto translate, and nothing more. Then, depending on if he is in a town or not, /shout them.
