There is no bi product if you burn H2 + O together >_> 2*H2+O2= 2*H2O

I think (if im not wrong) thats the guys genious. He get energy from the reaction of seperating the two. My question i think is the same as yours in that case....How is the guy harnessing that energy? In the video he show that it just turns back into water after the electrolisis. Hell if i know.

Last time I stop playing FFXI, there was still no magic in the real world and physics law were still applying. Unless that changed, the guy isn't telling everything and just make it sound like it's better than it actually is.

The only use I could see for something like that is:
-Use electricity obtained in a clean way (solar, wind...etc) to make electrolisis. I guess an electric/hydrogen hybrid could be more efficient than a pure electric or hydrogen car since it's probably harder to power a car using pure electricity than hydrogen.[/b]

There's a huge output of energy when you separate molecules. When you separate atoms, the output's tremendous but even molecules put out large quantities of energy when they are broken up.

Nuclear fission is atomic separation. It releases energy. The breaking of chemical bonds can create several different types of energy.

Breaking up molecules of water can create harnessable energy. The trick is harnessing it. Then the biproduct is the atoms that existed before. Whether they bond or not is entirely up to the atoms.

You can't make energy both way. If getting 2 atoms together create energy, separating them cost the same amount.

You fail.....read the whole post steam the biproduct of steam power is CO2 you know the smoke that comes out of a locomotive....thats a combination of steam and CO2. Next time pay attention and read the whole post. Seeing as boiling water uses no Carbon whatsoever (like coal does, ya know when u use it for steam u obvioulsy missed that day in chem class

Within some problem domain, the amount of energy remains constant and energy is neither created nor destroyed. Energy can be converted from one form to another (potential energy can be converted to kinetic energy) but the total energy within the domain remains fixed.
