Of course, that would be his first offense too in my scenario, but we all know how harassing japanese players get.

Well to be honest I wouldnt doubt that the camps are mandatory but within reason. Basically "if you are online and there's a king camp, you have no reason to not be there". Whereas I get to deal with people camping cargo crab colin during windows <_<...

The most badass nidhogg steamroll I've ever seen was a single JP dual boxing his pimped out PLD and his WHM mule. He trucked 4 linkshells at once and didn't even want the fucking mob, we rolled in and dropped the 8% nidhogg for our first Kbody >_>

Not much drama to tell, our best black mage (got our third Ebody because he had DRK at 75 too and capped out WAR immediately after) got banned for "speed hacking through boyahda" when he wasn't in the zone >_> he hopped the ledge to aery and one of our competitors reported him for it due to him being careless. He got first offense'd if you don't count a previous for killing gilsellers. He's since joined the WoW BG guild and is a pretty pimp priest from what I heard, he still shows up from time to time as like one of the 7 or 8 accounts people have allowed him access to, including our most pimped out PLD. Definitely miss him but it's not like he's dead or anything.

Yet he's a fking troll.

Yeah, there also seems to be a perpetuating occurance of people xp'ing their BLU during camps. Understandable to an extent, since ToA has been pretty nice thus far, but with one blm at camp, and the other in Garlaige, nerves tend to get split.

Grats on the kill, either way. Hopefully we get the next one, I needs me a Wyrm Beard, and a couple people in the shell could really use some purple body armors. =P

Hardly. Our shell is actually really really really fucking huge due to the fact that we didn't start as a HNMLS, we're a self-contained dynamis LS, a lot of our core members disappeared for months on end then came back for the expansion, and there's a lot of dissent amongst the current members as to what we should prioritize upon recruiting. We're actually pretty picky with recruiting but the flakes coming back made the roster about 1.5x as large as it used to be. You wont see 36 of us on at an aery window or us zerging any HNMs down though, that's for damn sure. Also, all shells on the server are sort of in that situation, the only one's who arent are the ones who made a point to team up with eachother and made a conglomerate pearl for those means.

To be honest we have the HNM crew then we have a number of players that would have been better served staying with their socials and only keeping a dyna pearl. Also we don't prioritize king camps over like... anything else if the "anything else" is scheduled, which makes evening camps a bitch since all of our huge LS events are during the night. It can be annoying at times during really stupid early windows but you make due, y'know? As long as the people who don't make the effort also don't perpetually bug me for shit I see no reason to crush pearls.

Well, I think the deal is that camps aren't mandatory per se, but you'll still get bitched out by every person who *is* spending their time at the camp trying to get shit for their LS members. I honestly hate camping stuff, though the fights are pretty fun (some of them, at least). Still, I've almost always managed to drag my ass to wherever I was needed, though I also suffer from an abundance of free time so I don't really have much reason not to go >_>

I hear that, but not having it mandatory leaves the ball in their court ultimately. If they feel like doing whatever they're doing, despite the fact that they're obviously wanted/needed elsewhere, they'll still have their pearls at the end of the day. Of course this train goes both ways, they don't get much of a positive response when they want us to kill some popped mob for them or anything like that, and they'll be pretty low on any form of loot list pertaining to the drops we get from whichever mob.

We're usually able to muster people for most stuff, though. Took down cerberus to 40% yesterday before the first of the WHMs managed to get there, and managed to pull a win, despite the fact that I wiped out about 5 other people standing behind him when I shoved a gekko up his ass, and a couple missed stuns near the end almost killed entire ally. Cerberus remains one of the more fun and intense fights for me in that last 20%, though. I like knowing that a single missed stun can potentially destroy the alliance <.<

Yeah I heard cerb dropped but took like 90% of you with him. Missing stuns on that thing is the most annoying shit in the world to me to the point that I disengage, throw on all my haste gear and run upstairs to do nothing but camp stun from 25% on. I really don't get why some HNMs are just complete fucking bitches to us at times though, I sit watching cerb fights with other people and it's like GoH, ulu, ulu, breath, GoH, GoH, breath, breath, breath, ulu, GoH, breath, GoH. Then for us it's GoH *stun wears* GoH *stun wears* GoH *stun wears*... 2 hits... GoH... if my timer isn't up by the time a 4th one goes something just seems fucked up in my book.

Yeah, we sent a couple DRKs up the stairs as well, and (I hope) kept them hasted. Things were going pretty smooth for the most part, but he got spammy with GoH and suddenly Mert spams party chat with "STUN NOT UP"

5 seconds later, boom. We had BLMs as a safety net for stun, but it looked all them decided to throw their stun at the preceeding GoH. Unfortunate coincidence, but a kill's a kill and even when it's my own shell, I find large groups of people getting one-shotted funny.

Edited again: Untrue isn't exactly right, but my impression of TG has been that it started as a social shell or at least non HNM, which tend to be a lot bigger than if you're recruiting for more limited stuff...so eh. Not in the sense of invite everyone, recruiting was closed when I was thinking about applying to a HNMLS
