WT's got resisted once in the first fight, but yeah it's rare-rare that it will happen.Originally Posted by Angelsin
I remember Tiamat resisting my stun once...asshole-.-
Linkshell won this bc for the first time the other day. Got mask, staff, and kunwu ore. I can't quite remember if we had a THF in the alliance or not, I think we did.
This was from our second attempt first win. First try was back when it was first released and we wiped hard. Drops suck as they usually do for our linkshell. 2:150 ridill, 0:10 King Vine, 0:7 Helm drop @ Vrtra, I can go on, but it depresses me.

got shafted again yet again.
bahamut hose, ore, wyrm horn (anybody need a dragon harness? I got a shitload of them)
Taking a thf on the next run.
Ya but watching people that aren't using ES on thier Sleep2's... you can really see its sleep resistance building up D:Originally Posted by Angelsin
One thing that used to piss me off about events as RDM/DRK is when you are expected to stun and support a party at the same time. Unless your tanks aren't too fond of refresh and haste, it is hard for a RDM to be a dedicated stunner.Originally Posted by Garret

The need to stun him is relatively rare though, the only 2x you should really need it are for -GA IV & occasionally to delay a flare if your HP aren't full. If you have 2 dedicated stunners rotating their orders then it really shouldn't be hard to be on stun & suport duty.
The BC really seems so tight on job combinations though, at least from my experience with it, that I'm not sure what other stunners you can easily use and still bring enough muscle.
Although you don't need the person to stun all the time, all it takes is a Firaga IV when you are in the middle of casting Refresh on someone to ruin everything. That is why relying on RDMs to Stun and Refresh sucks.Originally Posted by Garret
The thing with stunning spells is that most mobs cast in a kind of time-pattern. After being in a BC for a few minutes, a good stunner should be able to anticipate when Stun is going to be needed soon.Originally Posted by Septimus
If the mages are really hard up for Refresh in a BC where you have a particular role that important to the survival of the tanks, they should be carrying emergency Yagudo Drinks anyway.
Amen to that. I ALWAYS carry 3 drinks in case the need arises, along with a vile and vile+1.Originally Posted by Jeryhn
we´ve won twice, first drops were:
dragon staff, bahamut hose, kunwu ore+iron, cashmere thread,
second:
bahamut staff, bahamut zaghnal, molybdenum ore, cashmere thread, wyrm horn, oxblood,
both were without any thf or /thf present.
as for relying on rdm refreshes, by any of my experience with this bc there is little to no room for slacking or being cheap if you expect to win, so we have our mages carry yagudos, mulsums and vile/vile+1 per default. no loss if it turns out they weren´t needed, it´s not like they rot after a few weeks in delivery box anyway.
