Good teams of the jordan era. The rockets, the lakers, the pistons, some more that i can't recall. The problem was that the bulls just completely blew out every team that they were up against, so everyone else got overshadowed. And LOLOLOLOL @ this years detroit team beating the bulls 70win team. A lot tougher? Please tell me whose more tough than Rodman. I don't know if you hate the bulls or not, or just got some kind of vendetta against jordan...but that team and jordan, was undeniably the best there was.

Oh wow, I thought some of you were older but I guess not...Back when the Bulls and Jordan first began to win the league had some strong teams too, I mean there were the Celtics (Larry was no joke yo), Knicks, Lakers (Magic anyone?), Pistons (Isaih sp?), Utah, Portland (Clyde), and to some extent, Atlanta (Dominique). If anything, the league had some amazing players, more well-known "household" names, though admitedly most retired/phased out by time the Bulls won their second three titles, but you can't deny during their first stretch they did not have great competition; these days, the league seems to lack as many great players as they were during the late 80s, early 90s, so it seems like actually, the league is weaker now instead(more like the level gap between talented players has closed up between teams, and rare to have one person be as talented as the people I mentioned above).

ok lets see, you name bird, magic, thomas, drexler, and wilkins. definately an all star cast and all very good, the first three on a different level than the latter two id say (the slide and wilkins were still ridiculous tho.)

today there is a plethora of excellent players. i feel kobe and lebron will end up close to bird and magic when they end their careers. shaq and duncan will be top 10-15. dirk, nash, and wade all have potential to be all time greats, and if iverson had a decent supporting cast (even his team he took to the east finals wasnt great) he would be up there too. as an individual hes great. sadly now hes got webber as his second in command .

you all might hate him, but kobe bryant is most definatley one of the best of all time. Don't forget either that he is still a young guy that the lakers can build around.

Both Kobe and Iverson should get married, they are both Ball hogs, and bad for the league. Promoting their style of play for the youngsters to look up upon, I mean look at how well its done Iverson, how many championships? And Kobe? without fucking Shaq of course?

Taking 45-60 shots a game is hardly how the team game is supposed to be played.

Go John Stockton and Steve Nash. Two guards who epitomise what the nba guard should be. Sure you can Say Kobe is not a point guard, but fuck, heaven forbid if he thinks "pass" before thinking "shoot".

tyche your confusing two different eras, sure the year the bulls won their first title the pistons were still a "good" team, but that was the end of their time, the lakers were done 2 years before that, i already said the rockets were a good team

and as for the pistons of this year beating the bulls with their 70 wins, i didnt say that, espn said that, but they dont know what they are talking about do they

i dont have anything against the bulls or jordan, i liked jordan, but to even say rodmans name shows me you really dont know what your talking about, the only thing, and i mean ONLY thing rodman could do was rebound, beyond that you had jordan and pippen, yes, they did have other good players, but the starting 5 of detroit have something the bulls never had, a team mentality, you take out one of detroits stars and you still have a monstor of a team, you take out pippen or jordan and the bulls are in serious trouble

Im not confusing era's Jordan was on the bull's since 85? No they weren't great the entire time, but they weren't a bad team. I brought rodman's name up because he defned toughness. You talk about all he can do is rebound...what's ben wallace on the pistons for? Free throw shooting! Edit: Rodman was also 2 time defensive player of the year (on the pistons)(he was a hell of a shot blocker). But then again, i don't know what im talking about according to you. You can take 1 player out of the piston's lineup, and they will suck. Billups didn't play worth a shit in game 3-5 and they sucked. As far as the ESPN saying the pistons of now would beat the bulls of yesteryear...it's laughable. Must of been the same analysts that said the pistons would sweep the cavs.

The Bulls were a great team. Having said that, I'd still sell my soul to see this team have actually played in the league.

can you imagine how much more dominate they would have been with shaq instead of that bench warmer laetner (yes i know he was a good college player, a very good one, but he was no shaq)
