Good-
No uniforms.
Made Emma Frost a member of the team.
For Beast-centric stories.
Got Professor Xavier out of the wheelchair.
Xorn was awesome.
X-Corp kept many good characters from sliding out of existence.
Weapon XIII
Bad-
Made lots of mutants with crappy powers. (Before Morrison's run, most mutants did not stick out in a crowd and that is what made them feared.)
Had Wolverine on his team.
Killed Magneto.
Turned Beast into "Tony the Tiger on barbiturates".
Cassandra Nova was a stupid villain.
Broke up Cyclopes and Phoenix.
Inexplicably brought Magneto back to life posing as the cool character Xorn (who lived in a house with three of the most powerful telepaths on the planet but managed to fool them) ruining both of the characters.
Made Magneto an even more clichéd villain than even the hackiest of writers ever managed.
Had Magneto kill Phoenix in a way that still has not been explained. (Reminded me of the Lobo vs. Wolverine fight in DC vs. Marvel, it was so dumb that they did not bother explaining how Wolverine won.)
Put Professor Xavier back in a wheelchair.
Killed off some of the more interesting characters that he created. (For example, two of the Stepford Cuckoos.)
Killed Magneto yet again.
And Peter David is like a god to me. His new X-Factor run is amazing. (As was his old X-Factor run, his Supergirl series, Young Justice, both Fallen Angel series...)
They need someone to do X-Men, after Joe Casey and Peter Milligan, that book is in major trouble. (Seriously, can Superboy Prime punch the universe to make the "Island of Nightcrawlers" and "Gambit is Death" things go away?)
