Gogo 4th movie!
Spoilers i guess
Yea, That happens in the comics/show too if im not wrong, also theres a small chance that jean/Cyclops alive too if they go by another storyline (nothing involving the future), but they still wiped half the cool bad guys =/.
Possible story would revolve around mystique's revenge, Jean would be supposly still alive since she "cloned" herself, underwater, and since we never see cyclops actually die, well u get the picture.
But i doubt they will resurect jean again on a movie >_>;
To me, biggest letdown of a movie in a longtime. Fucking hated this movie.
Spoilers
Juggernaut - A. Fucking looked retarded. B. Juggernaut ran through about 10 walls, so how did that one wall knock him out completely?
Phoenix - Give her some lines ffs? Also didn't come close to following the original storyline.
Cyclops- Didn't follow correct storyline.
Sentinel - Apoc, where?
The movie theatre I went to boo'd when it was over (yes, especially after the Xavier thing).
If you're going by the comics then yeah you're gonna say the movie sucked.
Overall, to appease to the american masses who have NOT read all the comics, and to fit everything they wanted to in a 2 hour movie, it was really really good :D You have to remember about the "normal" people who go to the movies too![]()
pretty much sucked
being a comic book fan, yes, i'm a bit disappointed. sadly, i missed xavier's reincarnation or w/e b/c i was in such a rush to get out of the theater. someone pm me and tell me what happened plzzzzzz

yeah someone post what happen after the credits, i left the cinema in a rush too
Remember the kid in the white room?
Remember how Kitty couldn't fly through that same wall?
The kid's mutant power neutralizes the X-genes of others around him. If you didn't catch that, you were asleep most of the movie. When juggernaut came running in, his omgsuperpowers deactivated just as he neared the wall, thus he couldn't run through it.
I personally loved the movie, though I've never read the comics to compare. I missed the Xavier ending though, we were wanting to get out before the main traffic ;;
I don't see how following story line can even be an issue, because there's so many different varieties that why can't the movies be a whole separate variety?
If you looked at the movie as a whole, compared to all the other superhero movies, this one wtfpwned.
The only thing that was kind of upsetting, was that there was no Nightcrawler ;;

you see a breaded man from the beginning of the movie when xavier said [this man has no body issues but he has no mind, ethis blahblah] and theres a nurse standing over him. in xaviers voice you hear him say the nurses name and she goes [charles?] and it goes black
I think thats what pissed me the most about the movie, not only the movie sucked, but at the end he tries to copy what Bryan did, (X2, Xavier talking about evolution and how sometimes it takes a "jump" and the end with Jean saying that), you know atleast Bryan actually gaved that scene a special moment because when the mind of xavier went to the guy, half the theater was like huh?.
Also the spiked dude (forgot his name tho i think its spike..), had a bigger role than most of the characters, seriously wtf.
I thought it was great...and I was a fan of the cartoon/comics as a kid. Obviously the movie is going to be different than those, you have to fit a ton of stuff in a 2 hour package, and make it understandable for people who didn't read the comics.
And I didn't think the Juggernaut looked that bad. Honestly...did you really wanna see the Juggernaut in redish spandex?
Hang on I hav'nt seen the movie, But have they made Juggernaught a mutant?
true, but one thing that bugged me was Juggernaut isn't supposed to be a mutant. ok correct me if I'm wrong b/c I haven't read a comic books in a few years but didn't he get his power like from a rock or something? I think they completely messed up the Juggernaut. (However, I did like it when he looked at kitty and had the famous line, "I'm the Juggernaut, bitch.") lol ;xOriginally Posted by Gregorio
Overall, I guess I could say someone who doesn't read the comics would love the movie but others like me might be slightly bothered by a few aspects of the movie.
TV and Movies exist in a realm of their own as far as stories go. Really excited now, since the general opinion is that the movie owns if you know nothing about whats really supposed to happen w/ the characters.
Fact. If you're going to see a kick ass movie and don't expect a complete storyline from the comics / cartoon then you're in for a good movie.
The only other X-men related stuff I have seen are the first two films, and I thought this one was toss. The whole cinema laughed when Xavier explained how Jean survived "A psychokinetic bubble!" lol. Anna paquin (rogue) looks hideous now. "Don't you know who I am? I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!" made me laugh for about a minute. Other than that, I was bored.Originally Posted by Xavier
agreed. A couple of my friends and I were discussing going to see it for a 2nd time since we missed out on the scene at the end of the credits. I don't think I'd mind seeing it again. oh shit while I'm thinking about it....Originally Posted by SilverBreeze

when wolverine had to take out jean, am i the only one that felt a little sad? I mean, we knew it was coming but hell. I felt bad for him. "I love you." and then "/kills her." In my opinion, it was a decently emotional scene. (if that makes sense)
SPOILER
The only real problem I had with the movie is it felt kinda rushed in certain areas. All of the "making of" specials I saw were really excited about Jeans transformation...but really the movie could have existed without her. She didn't do anything major really except kill Xavier and blow shit up at the end.
It also kinda felt like there were 2 seperate storylines goin on and neither were necessary for the other to exist. On one hand you had the cure storyline, and on the other you had the Phoenix story, but they weren't connected well in my opinion. If they wanted to have the cure storyline, they should have made Phoenix a more necessary part in acquiring the cure or something.
