I've been to a few places in the UK, mostly southern & central england but liverpool definitley wins.

And buy a flag/england shirt/red and white hat for when we play in the world cup, sit in a pub and everyone will talk to you. Which is quite unusual.

Wireless festival, hyde park 21st June. The Strokes, Raconteurs, Dirty Pretty Things. If you are into that kinda music it would be a good thing to check out while you are over here. Other then that there are loads of great clubs + venues. Also alot of good gallerys and museums, not necissaraly the sort of thing you associate with fun, but again worth going to if you have an interest in those kinds of things.
