I try not to be to critic because it allows me to enjoy the show so much more. I just lean back and enjoy the action and sudden plot twists, it makes for good entertainment.

QFT. You enjoy something as much as you let yourself enjoy it. If you're gonna be so critical of something then don't watch it. People would enjoy things more often if they just watched it for what it was, instead of coming into something with false hopes and expectations.

HONESTLY, Jack can outsmart everyone on fucking planet earth for 5 seasons, but can't even suspect something when someone tells him there's a call from his daughter out of the blue in that dark, abandoned warehouse over there.

You are partly correct there, the phone call thing was obvious something was going to happen but they meant it to be that way, even the music in the back ground changed, they were telling you something would happen. But you did not know it would be the Chinese.. personally I thought it was gonna be those 4 dudes in that room with the wireless headsets (lol) until they took off the masks.

I wanted to turn off the TV because it was so fucking obvious.

True I am somewhat of a fanboy for 24, but I just did not think PB was all that good, the best part about it was the guy in the cast who always plays that crazy Russian if you know who I mean. He was in Bad Boys 2, Armageddon, etc. He owns.

How can you say Prison Break IS predictable?

Lets see. They would probably ESCAPE from the prison in the last episode, tell me you did not think that lol, that is what the show revolves around. What it did do well was the ending since you did not know exactly what would happen as they ran away.

The difference is, it was season ONE of prison break. This is season fucking 5 of 24 which they said was the last. But obviously money > making a good ending, so they're going to drain it for all it's worth.

And no, if you watched Prison Break you didn't know if they'd escape or not. You also didn't know if Lincoln was going to be executed or not, that was a very tense thing for a few episodes. At first I was pissed at the ending because we have to wait, but now I realize it was good because it was unpredictable, opposite of what you said. They did escape but their plans to get away are ruined and who knows how they're going to get out.

I do also like the volkswagen commercial man too, lol I always like him in any movie/show.

In closing, here's the preview for season six. SPOILERS.

First few episodes: Jack is in trouble! Jack is getting tortured! Audrey cries and shit. Chloe tries to pinpoint his location using high tech mumbo jumbo.

Next few: Jack, even though he is in some sort of impossible to get out facility manages to attack a guard/ninja when his guard is down! Gets his weapon and cell phone, kills some people, calls chloe, they find out where he is and get him out.

Next few: Just when Jack thought it was all over, terrorists from Uzbekistan are planning on nuking L.A. (not washington mind you, useless ass L.A. again.). Nobody but Jack can stop them! Somewhere in this Audrey almost gets killed but Jack saves her and they share a touching moment.

Next 6 or so episodes: Jack is about to stop them when he finds out that there are traitors in CTU and the government! Mike the secretary is working with the terrorists, ruh roh. Jack screams "WE HAVE NO TIME". Jack kills Mike somewhere making hima fugitive murder suspect.

Next 5 episodes: Jack is trying to infiltrate the terrorists and manages to do so... alone... with a pistol. Lots of action, things blowing up, Audrey almost dies again, Kim is sleeping with one of the terrorists, NEED MORE TIME, tick tock tick tock.

Last episode: Jack does it! He stopped the terrorists and is no longer wanted by the police! BUT uh ooooooooooooh need another season. So Jack goes home finally and Chloe is waiting there. He whispers "Chloe what are you doing here." And she says "I blame you for Edgar's death!" and tasers him. STAY TUNED FOR SEASON 7.

I did watch prison break... but... I'm pretty sure that when the previews say.. "hey, they'll break out by the end of the first season" that you'll know they're going to break out by the end of the first season.

PS I thought the end of 24 was a great ending. I mean really, you think the chinese would just let jack walk as a free man after he faked his death to get out of that shit? I also thought prison break was a good show.. but to find it unpredictable you'd have to watch it blind folded.

Then like I said you obviously didn't watch the show. TWO episodes were of Michael having to come to grips with breaking out without his brother. If he did get executed the show would not be moot. You forget about the 6 other main characters that need to get out.

No you did not know they were going to be surrounded by cops. His plan throughout the show was to get out without anyone knowing. You also couldn't assume they'd make it out seeing as we already knew there was going to be a second season.

Believe me, I watched every episode of 24 for 5 seasons. Don't lecture me about it. I'm just tired of seeing the same bullshit over again. The fact remains this season would have been great to end on. Edgar died, Tony died, Palmer fucking died, there's only so many more you can kill off to surprise people.

If you honestly thought micheal was going to break out without his brother.. wow just wow... the entire premise of the show would have been demolished.

When I say that I mean, micheal going to prison. If his brother gets killed he's got no reason to be there.

I didn't say i knew about them being surrounded by cops, I just said it wasn't unpredictable, and it wasn't. Nothing about that scenario is surprising in the least. If you break out of prison you're going to have cops chasing you.

And while they were planning the escape they knew they wouldn't have very much time to move away from the prison, they only had an hour total to complete the escape, because they checked the tiers every hour.

As for lecturing you, where the fuck did I lecture you. I said 24 is great show. It is. I said it was a great ending. It was. I said this season was fan-fucking-tastic. It was. These are my opinions of course.

Quite frankly, if you dont like it, don't watch it. But in january when it comes back on the air, don't sit there and watch it just so you can criticize every tiny bit of the show, it doesn't bring you joy to watch it, just as it doesn't bring us joy to listen to you complain about watching it.

I for one will be on the edge of my seat at the start of season 6. If you're not, well, enjoy all the finest programming prime-time tv has to offer(read: nothing).

I can't think of many stories, shows, movies, or ect(at least in the last two centuries) where the main character dies at any point before the end or never.

Just like you make yourself forget that the thing you are watching is entirely fake(in a lack of better words), you should make yourself forget that the main character probably won't die.

Keifer signed on for 3 more years of 24, its in his contract. They can obviously kill him, but hes signed up for at least 3 more years (seasons).

That doesn't mean there will be a season 8. Sure, it's a possibility, but basically all that means is that Kiefer is willing to do the show three years. FOX may want to axe it/him (for whatever reason) beforehand.

That contract pays him for 3 more years, regardless wether or not they decide to produce 3 more seasons or not. They're certainly not going to pay him for seasons they dont intend on creating.
