I didn't get SS of it, but I saw it... ya, he lotted it not more than 5sec before it dropped. Was just really a bad deal. Sad thing I remember the first Chronce back in the day was decent guy, but has since been sold like 5x. That is why if I ever quit I will give char to a friend or something but NEVER sell. I'm just going to say this to say it, I don't want to start a debate, because I personally play FFXI and I like it. BUT,

This happened to a friend of mine who plays WoW, after breaking a couple of guild rules a guy in the guild was kicked. on the night of their next BWL run the kicked member came on another member who he had shared info with before the falling out. and Proceeded to Ninja loot their entire Cromaggus (at that time they could not kill Nef)

Anyway, after talking it over for the GM, the GM was able to transfer essentially rare/ex items to the correct people, to bad they can't do that in ffxi.

DL is about 50% luck, 30% skill, 20 strategy. Not hard, just have to have luck on your side.

And our server is pretty friendly and pretty trustworthy....have people come in and help the shell all the time when they're bored. I have no problem with that.

Id put it at 20% luck, 50% CS stunners, 30% having enough melee power and gear to push it down.

As far as him saying "nin lotted", on carby, we use the term "ninja lot" to describe when someone sneaks in a lot at the last second. YOu know...ninja...sneaky

25% Luck, 25% Stunners, 50% Having enough people.

To say a mob that can be fought by anything between 20 and 64 people isn't mostly based off of attendance, is kinda naive. We've gotten him down to 24% with 28 people, and could easily pull a win off if TP moves went a little better. Toss 36 people ontop of those 28, and I'm sorry, but "strategy" isnt an issue.

Truer words have never been spoken by someone without a Shadow Mantle. I've seen proc go off 5 times in a row. Sorry but I missed the part where anything can compare to that. It's ok, worry about breaking 2k HP while hate's on the mages.
