Yea I don't disagree that LS only dynamis is the way to go. But kinda hard to find 40-50 people in your LS on at the same time. For 4 cities it's pretty easy to find enough, even for Beaucedine. But for Dynamis Lord kill, almost impossible. Even for the 4 cities, half the LS is going to complain about how much they hate Dynamis and it's boring, yadda yadda.

Eh, with only one Kraken club we've killed Dynamis Lord with as low as 34 people.

Dynamis sucks in general. Great idea, but very poorly implemented by SE.

Dynamis has and always will always have an issue with people either loving it or hating it. Making a blanket statement that Dynamis is great is all fine and good, but that's your opinion....don't try to talk someone out of theirs.

But understand, there is a very large contingent of players at endgame that loathe dynamis and avoid it if at all possible.

My only problem is drop, mainly Northland drop rates. Getting only one to two AF pieces every three days if you are lucky is bullshit. Of course its great when you compare it to CoP Dynamis and CoP "endgame" hell even AIDS looks more fun than CoP Dynamis.

FFXI's main problem in my opinion is preventing players from getting marginaly better gear. There is no progression in gear, the best gear is still Shinra/Abd. gear. Grand Wryms drop shit, if you're lucky. Sea is a nightmare with no drops/pop items in a reasonable amount of time. There is a problem when LSes still camp Fafhogg/KB/Aspid for two years and more simply because they can not gear up people for the next tier of mobs because Nidhogg likes to drop N Legs instead of E/M bodies. Even then whats the point of killing them? They drop nothing worth that much effort, just kill for the title, thats it.

Most of the abj gear sucks. All zenith is outdone by most other options. Koenig is outdone in a lot of circumstances unless your going off a strait HP+ build. 3:5 peices of crimson are good. The three good pieces of shura are extremely easy to get. Only piece of abj gear that is fuckpwn and difficult to get is e.body imo. With that said i love dynamis. I think the status of the gear fits the bill fine. Who wants everyone and their mother running around in valor bodies, sorcerer's petasos, and dualist tabards.

I actually like dynamis. The whole large raiding idea is a nice change from things. It's the end results for relics that fail. Shield and horn are godly and the cost justifies them due to what they can do. But other weapons fall short of expectations. I remember watching one of the old JP LS's on Siren had a GA at a Nid (first Nidhogg claim/camp in 3 months - can you say test run?). It was horrible. WAR/DRG and he missed 6 out of the 10 WS's I saw. 2 of them hit for 0 (not during MS), and 2 others did 450 damage. The guy obviously didn't hear Xavier's advice on selling the gil and taking a vacation.

lol who cares if everyone has the gear. imo everything should be easy to get, and more focus on strategy in killing. a ridill is a ridill, its still really good regardless of how many people own one. same applies to dynamis, with the amount of jobs everyone has leveled i think it should be fairly decent drop rate.

id rather see everyone have a whm af2 body, than see more people who were lv40 when i was 75 doing dynamis get it before me.
