That's actually a good point that I never really thought of. It's kinda weird that if you cast a spell and it gets intimidated he goes claimed but it doesn't actually claim and he turns back to yellow in a couple seconds.

I actually fixed that problem the second time I fought anyway by staggering Poison II and Bio II so that they didn't both wear at the same time ever, but the first fight when it happened it was incredibly frustrating.

I'm tempted to try as SMN, since I've never been intimidated on SMN (neither my act of assault, blood pact, nor the avatar using the BP itself), though I may have seen a melee avatar hit get intimidated before.. I never usually leave avatars out long enough to notice.

I can just throw endless Carbies at him, and run him around the loop just north of his pop (through the river, then up to land and back down around and back into the river) so I never have to kite past him, always away from him.

No worries of claim, and no intimidation frustration (if carby gets intimidated, he'll do it far away from me and I won't see it... I just know I won't be getting intimidated).

You will not be intimidated when summoning carby, as the act of summoning is something you cast on yourself, and not on Gration. As far as Assault...this might be intimidated, since you perform it on Gration, but I have never had assault intimidated. Furthermore, why would you even need it? Unlike BST pets, puppets, and Wyverns.....Avatars will automatically attack any mob that is aggroing the smn. What a shock when I started BST to find out my pet will just sit and watch me die...unlike my ever faithful bodyguard Carby.

I got him to 10% once, but do a stupid mistake and lack of patience (You would be impatient too if he regened from 25% back to 45% on you when you went unclaimed without you noticing...) I got caught with my pants down and took a double death with no time for RR ; ;

I intend to get my revenge as soon as I get my Fast Pants.
