The Al Zhabi AH, which is supposed to be the cheap method to get shit on the Jeuno AH, was changed to be more expensive than the Jeuno AH.
It's 50 fucking gil more to put up an item in Al Zahbi than it is in Jeuno now.

    50 gil ??

I used to put up a stack of black sole for like 100 gil (it was something cheap enough to make me run from whitegate AH to Al Zhabi AH), now it costs 650 gil.

    550 gil 4 times a day = 2200 gil
    2200 gil 7 times a week = 15400 gil
    4 weeks in a month = 61600 gil

I'd like that extra 61k in my wallet at the end of a month.

read the update, there is no more 2% anywhere. the highest fee you can pay is now in Al Zahbi.

The update says nothing at all about any changes to Whitegate, so presumably Whitegate maintains the 2%-1% fees.

As for your 60k Nynja, find a cook who will buy all your soles every day, or level cooking on a mule and make a hell of a lot more than 60k extra a month either way.

    edit: dumb spelling

The update didn't mention Whitegate though, which was 2% before the update. There's no reason to believe that Whitegate's was lowered as well, especially since they went to the effort of naming every other Jeuno-linked area. (Unless the OP copied incorrectly or I'm missing something)

NynJa: If you're worried about 61k a month, just take the warp taru to Jeuno and list there. Better yet, use a Jeuno mule.

Everyone else: It's 50 fucking gil, if you want that gil, go use the warp taru and list in Jeuno. Or, use the warp taru, kill a goblin, warp back to Al Zahbi, and list your item all in the time it takes to walk to the Jeuno AH and list it.

It costs 20,100 gil to list an item for 1,000,000 in Whitegate. That's 2% tax +100 gil.

Look, you're still missing the point.

The benefit of the Al Zhabi AH was the fact it was cheaper than all other AH's linked to Jeuno. The catch being it could potentially be lost durring Besieged.
Now, its not even the cheapest AH, so what the fuck is the point ?

IT'S STILL CHEAPER THAN WHITEGATE. It's the cheapest place to go if you set HP in Al Zahbi or Whitegate. That's reason enough to defend it, no?

The only reason your HP was in Al Zahbi was for the AH?

I keep it there for the exp areas, assault, besieged when I'm bored, close mog house to AH/sender, guild supports, etc.

There is still tons of reason to keep my HP there, and since Whitegate is still 2%, I will continue to hope that the AH manager is not taken again.

If 61k in additional fees at the end of a whole MONTH bothers you, then you absolutely fail at crafting. Maybe bazaaring Insect Paste would be more your speed? Or maybe WoW.

I dont see why people are whining about Beseiged. It most likely just means that mobs will move more in the direction of the generals, instead of the random walking around they did before. It's not like they are immune to the typical hate rules.

No, the only reason to keep your HP in Whitegate now is because it is amazingly inconvenient to get back there. If I want to go to Tavnazia (lol) I can use my ring, outpost right next to the city, or if worse comes to absolute worst outpost to the dunes and run a few minutes across a safe zone. If I used my Olduum ring, I have to take a long-ass boat ride to get to Aht Urhgan. (Hopefully they will fix that in the future.)

There may not be anything worthwhile in Tavnazia (except for two weekly scroll quests), but at least I can get there quickly.

They are when they're advancing in Bhaflau or Wajaom.

You can try to fight them, but they only look at you for a few seconds, then go unclaimed and keep marching on.

it's very possible for mobs to ignore hate rules.

anyway, i think if people want to keep winning, you're actually going to have to listen to the annoucement and intercept them.

I think there was a Teleport-Wajaom or something similar in the .dat files. That'll hopefully be implemented in the next major update.
