24 bynes a year, it would take 625 years to get a lv5 relic (approx 15000) and that's not counting the 3000 refund on the final (since it can be borrowed).

That's just a tad longer than your guess of 20 years. By a little bit.

I like the changes, I was able to auction my SH's in Jeuno at low fees, instead of having to mule them to my main character and run to Zahbi to sell them.

As for the people wondering why we should defend the city now...15% xp bonus with sanction on...that's all I need to say.

Beseiged seems quite a bit harder now since the update. I think the changes basically give the monsters some amount of "hate buildup over time" towards the generals. The generals need not perform any action against the mobs, it's just like hate regen towards generals. So from time to time, mobs just hunt down generals because their hate is always going up. It's more important now than ever that you have some healers dedicated to healing generals. We won an undead level 5 yesterday, but when we won there was only one general remaining. That being said, I like the changes, Beseiged was just funner yesterday for some reason.
