I don't think you work for 12 hours a day all three days do ya?? I've not been to Chicago and probably will mill about town Monday.

I almost do =( 2 jobs these days (well, for the summer only, come end of august it's back to LUC).

I would have made an effort to at least go one of the days, but two things prevented this. 1) my friends didn't want to go and 2) I only like 2 of those bands. Not too much of a big deal for me though.

I lucked out with a free place to stay. My friend lives near the El-train. I've never ridden it before. I assume its pretty easy, and does it run close to the park? Also, how much are tickets? I assume theres a ticket to ride it. Or busing? The logistics I have for this trip are quite lacking except for that I'll be driving...

good thing i don't work downtown anymore, i heard traffic was off the charts.

my friend lived right off the El train so it was actually pretty quick to get in and out. Traffic would have been autrocious to drive in especially sunday night where the sea of people just migrated through downtown.
concert was super fun.
Highlight was front row for Coheed though

I went, and yes it was fucking awesome. Grant Park was the perfect place for this, plenty of sun, plenty of shade, and plenty of room to walk around. All the bands kicked ass (i went all 3 days), and if you smoked weed in the trees next to the playstation stage you probably saw me.

i smoked weed just about everywhere, hell some of the shit i smoked with other people i think might of been laced it was so fucking good.
