I don't see what's so bad about RDM/SMN. Carbuncle's Healing Ruby is a hate free Curaga, Ramuh can give everyone Enthunder, and Shiva can put Ice Spikes on the tank. And RDM/SMN can get up to an astonishing 9 MP/tick under the right conditions. The MP boost is especially helpful for Elvaans and Galka

You people need to start hating and stop thinking outside the box.

Those BP you listed are shit. /SMN Avatars are weak as fuck. RDM/BLM can get 8/MP a tick under the same conditions and get elemental debuffs, Sleepga, MAB, Escape, Warp, and Conserve MP. /SMN doesn't add that much MP.

RDM/BLM generally sucks for RDM anyways being that most of the time we are just back up curers and buffers/debuffers so those -na and erase and divine seal come in handy. RDM/BLM is really Dynamis and anywhere you really need sleepga I'd say. Or solo-ing. /DRK is dynamis and certain BCNMs only (even then not necessary for those BCNMs that I'm thinking of, just makes it easier same with dynamis except DL which it seems to be a must). /SMN seems good for only a RDM/SMN in a tank party if you wanna give them blink (i.e. a PLD tank) and for a little more MP/tick for the RDM to use to cure the tanks. Other than that.. meh.. fun to try different things but most exp parties wouldn't let you as they don't wanna gimp the exp grind.

Anyways, this just depresses me more about my job. I swear Red Mages these days are complete idiots, I haven't met a good RDM for months now, literally months. Then again, I could just be over analyzing people because they wear Lv.54 MND Rings at 75 and use a sword to debuff things.
