I can count the number of times I've gotten refresh from every RDM I've been in a party with on one hand. I guess RDMs don't like to refresh their BRDs.

Do BRDs blaze through MP or am I missing something? I don't even remember the last BRD I saw with 150 max MP.

In a normal gear setup I have around 400 MP, I can get over 500 pretty easily. During exp parties, dynamis, whatever, I'm constantly using MP. If your BRDs have 150 max MP and they aren't using it then they probably stink.

I've seen a few of those lately. It's sad when a bard is so bad that the party is horribly gimped from it. I had an EU brd that decided he'd just sing 2x march, no minuet, when I was thf/nin using attack food (red curry, which is a huge fucking waste without minuets) and all other melee were sushi, so we all had poor attack with 2x march. For 30min we asked them to at least sing a minuet and he didn't. We were about to replace him (friend has rl friend with 75brd, was going to 2box just to get rid of the brd) and he sang minuets. Then we moved in to Mamook and went after Mamool Ja. The stupid bard decides to Horde Lullaby the spiders which we DID NOT ATTACK after we said numerous times they do not aggro. Which got himself killed and then everyone in the party (except me...can't kill the thf!) and everyone had to HP. It's easy as hell to be a competent brd, it honestly takes skill to be such a fuck up.

Once you cap attack out, you hit just about anything for the same amount. With Sushi and Soul Voice Minuet and full haste gear, I was critting as high as 140+ on Fafnir at times...not far from what you'd do on other mobs. Anyway, Steel Cyclone is gimp, Rampage > All.

If thats with no Minuets, luck indeed... had to be attack food. Fafnir's defence/evasion is astronomical....possibly rivalring just about any mob, even CoP wyrms it feels. (ok I know there's some exception, but regarding mobs you actually melee.)
